I'm planning one (maybe) for that time.... depends. Since it's taken me 15 years to get DH to agree to a cruise, I have a feeling this will be an every other year event!

When he said yes to a cruise, I didn't look ANYWHERE else - knew we were going Disney - but for funs and grins, I just priced some Holland America and NCL cruises at the same time as our 2009 one and with similar itineraries and they are MUCH cheaper (any ideas why??) Just curious!! Sticking with Disney, though - want our first experience to be MAGICAL! :wizard::flower3:

I think there is a number of reasons for this. Firstly..its Disney they know they can charge more. Also being mainly families, they need to put on more actovities. Add to that the loss in income on drinks and of course, no casino, it all adds up.

They also only have two ships and they can almost guarentee filling the ships. That's my twopenith.

Ooohhh - quiet this afternoon! I went to exercise at lunch today (there is a YMCA in the building next door) - Yay!! I'm going to hurt tomorrow!! But I am determined to be able to have Karen take my picture and me not go and hide behind people!!

Good for you...wish I had a YMCA next door to work.

we're 18 posts away from he next googley...whos with me?

Back from photography class - geez! - too much technical stuff going on tonight:confused: - We had a mini test:scared1: - wasnt expecting that!:scared1:

All types of photography terminology .... I had to actually THINK!.........my brain hurts now:lmao:

Just get a bottle of merlot and you just kill those brain cells that you used to think with. Then they won't hurt anymore. :lmao:

We're actually looking at RCCL, NCL and Princess for 2010. They are much cheaper. We can get a mini-suite w/ balcony on an 8 night for around $2,700 for the 3 of us. I don't remember the itinerary, but it did go to other islands than DCL.

Trying to get my DH :love:to join our board so that he won't feel "left out" when we meet up!

DW is never on the boards, but gets along great with everyone. We see others from the board though, so that keeps her in touch.

Question (for the RACE toward 400)....

Anyone ever been able to use their Iphone on the cruise? I'm reading up on it and would love to be able to surf a little on the net (without having to pay for it)

:surfweb:

DH just informed me that he has a REAL job and doesn't have time to chat all day :rotfl:. (He was being a mite bit sarcastic). He's an auditor and I told him all he does is tell people they are doing their job wrong - he doesn't do any actual work!! :lmao:

He'll hop on just to get to know you all. Having my 11 year old join the kids board as well (when she's not grounded from the computer!):surfweb:
