There are some great prices around.

Yeah, I noticed that. A lot of balcony and even suites for $3,000 or less for 2A and 1C.

Even DCL is cheaper for the 10/23/2010 Eastern than it is for the BOB. I think we could sail for about $200 less than the BOB is costing us.

Doing it up big for our first cruise too - but if we get addicted (which I am SURE we will) - won't mind doing the cheap thing going forward!

We figured why not go on multiple cruises instead of just one. I'd rather save the $ for another one. We did two cruises in both 2005 and 2007. We found that we didn't use the balcony that much, but it was nice to have. Just would rather have the $1,000 in my pocket.

We balance that out with the cost of the cabin and we go for a cat 11 every time.

That's what we have this time around, but I wouldn't decline an upgrade.

That's what we do as well. Suz, however, needs a window, so if we don't get SPH, we go Cat 9.

Those SPH are a great bargain. Mind you, you have to watch out for peeping toms! or Dawgs

Nope. We're set on the BOB. We just booked it because it was a steal. We booked the 4 nighter because we were talking with AFEG and they were going to do the 4 nighter right before the BOB. They're not, and we moved ours to 2010. It would work out week wise for us, so we may use it. However, we could sail on another line out of FLL or MIA, even SJU for less and get to different islands.

Not sure what we'll do in 2010. Hopefully dates for the new ship will be out soon, but I never hear anything on it, just that it is due out in the first quarter of 2011. Heck, those sailings should be posted by the time the BOB goes.

2012 for the new ships for us, I'm afraid, but we might book something to move to 2012.

But, he's loved me for almost 15 years now.. you are but a scant memory! (Of course, his hair is ALOT more salt than black now, but he still has it all!)
