I'm sitting here trying to figure out how I can squeeze 5 school jobs into an hour:headache:

I need to plan for a year 2 disco, year 6 disco, charity clothing run, book fair, and parents evening. I cant start any of them til 3.35pm and I have to be back out of the staff room by 4.45pm:rolleyes:

I've already got Ellis helping after school, but I'm still about 10 pairs of hands short:rolleyes:

The parents would soon moan if the events got cancelled, but they still won't spare an hour to help organise:sad2:

Oh well, I'm sure it will get done eventually.:rolleyes1...just not sure how:lmao:

I'm off to weed the garden. I have an hour, that should be long enough as long as my back hold out :thumbsup2

Hi Chris - I've enjoyed your piccies:goodvibes
Thanks! I was sad when I forgot my "real" camera at home. Those were all taken on my BlackBerry. It has a decent camera 3.2MP, but the colors aren't really sharp, and there is no zoom.

If I can swing it, I may try to get a new camera for the cruise. My neighbor has an awesome Sony that I just love. Its a SLR, but a mid level one. I may look into getting one of those.

My mom just bought a brand new Canon EOS Rebel. She is loving that. She will be a shutterbug on the cruise.

And their gardens

I have no idea who you're talking about :headache:

we'll be watching too.:woohoo:
i heard they're bringing Jen back.:cloud9:

Only in your dreams ;)

Count me in for Big Brother. Maybe that will get me away from MouseWorld Radio. :rotfl2:

In regards to getting back on track....I just got off the treadmill. I told Mike, "Don't let me try to weasel out of it". (Just what a guy wants to hear) :rotfl: They tend to get scared when we women ask them to help us lose weight. :lmao::lmao:

LOL, yup Rob knows I am back on so more McDonald's breakfasts :scared:

Now it's time for me to request prayers - Dave's dad is in the hospital tonight for a lung infection. Almost 3 months ago he was treated for Esphogeal Cancer and he's been recovering - slowly - but getting there. He's not been feeling well lately and my MIL took him to the ER tonight and they admitted him. The doc said it wasn't related to his surgery, but since his body is still healing, it may have hurt a bit.

THanks in advance for the prayers. Happy post will come next!!;)

Prayers and pixiedust: for Dave's dad!

Anyone interested in a few photos?

Heres Ellis off to cub camp

Great photos Karen! Ellis is so cute!!! Looks like both him and Neil had lots of fun!!

Good morning all,

Been a very busy week here, on of my co- workers who does the computer stuff for the front desk software has given notice. So I have to learn her job on top of my job. That side is not what I enjoy I am just a numbers cruncher. So I have 5 days to learn what she does all month!! But its job security. I am not going to stress, I can only do what I can do. If there were more jobs in this town no one would stay with this company. For some reason my computer won't see the Lan line any more, so I am waiting for IT to call me and sitting outside stealing wireless. Which is not bad now, but will get very hot soon.

Wow, more work for you??? :sad2: Here's some pixiedust: to get through it all Joanne!

I've had a Rebel for 4 years now and I love it  Most of the shots I take at home that I post are taken with my Rebel :thumbsup2 SLR's are the way to go but they are not compact :sad2:

Helllllooooooooo.

Is no one around this evening?

I've left work, travelled home, cooked dinner, eaten, washed up and surfed and no one's been on since my last post.

Talk about thread killer!

Ok - happy post... I talked to both of my girls tonight and the rain stopped this afternoon and they were able to take their first dip of their visit in mamaw and papaw's pool!! They had a blast. Then they went over to visit MY grandma - who lives in a nearby retirement community.

This is my FAVORITE grandma :lovestruc:lovestruc(i know..shouldn't play faves...) but this woman - when I was in college in Tampa - drove from Arkansas, down to Tampa, took me to Disneyworld for a few days and then drove me home to Virginia. This was back in 1992 (or 1993) and she was almost 70 then. She drove across the country and traveled until recently. She went with my parents AND kids to WDW last 4th of July and the girls LOVED it since grandma was in a wheelchair and they got to get on rides early! LOL. THey were lucky to get those memories because 2 weeks later, she had a stroke.

She is MUCH MUCH better - slowly. She moved down to Pensacola and into a retirement facility (not assisted living) and the girls told me "they went to visit the old people". Becca (my youngest DD) will talk to EVERYONE in the world - knows NO strangers (kind of scary sometimes) and I know they had a good time.

Ok - sorry for the run ons. Going to catch up on the posts and head to bed.

Wow! :thumbsup2And I thought my grandma was the best!
(Mine never drove or she might have done such a thing)

Love these pictures Chris!! HOw cool to see the peaches. Reminds me of all the shows I watch on the TV Food Network (I'm FASCINATED by how things are made!!)

Bit ashamed, but I will be there watching BB as well. :sad2: Can't help it (but really - there is NOTHING else on tv!!)

Chris - have a SAFE Trip back home. Earlier you showed a pic of South of the Border - Pedro says HI!!! :-) We stopped there once on our way to WDW in 2006 and took lots of pictures with the animal statues, but really, nothing else worth looking at. Dave DID find a boxing nun puppet he wanted to get. (Be careful of the gift shops, sometimes they have NOT so appropriate gifts in them for kids' eyes!)

that south of the border is pretty cr*!!y.
