Joanne maybe you can help me. I am stressing about the weather next week. The weather channel's website is calling for scattered thunderstorms all week. I am hoping that means that there will be an afternoon rainstorm but sunny the rest of the day. That's the summer weather we had growing up in Louisiana, and we'e experienced it in FL when we lived there before, but I am nervous about it nonetheless.

We have had great weather the last two weeks, You will get the thunder clouds late in the afternoon. Just carry the poncho's and it will not rain. Bring baby powder cause it is very hot down there. We went to DTD on 5/31 and it was 95. If it's too rainy just shop!! I think you will be ok. There is nothing tropical out there that will hang over for days.

Thanks. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Thanks for the reminder about ponchos. I was in Walmart yesterday, but they had none. I am going to check the exchange today. If not, I'll have to head out to another store....

Try the dollar stores I think they carry them too. We have a bunch with Mickey on the back and Woody woodpecker, would always for get them and then it would pour.

We cruised for our Honey moon out of NY in 83. Went to bermuda. It was really nice to go under the bridges and right by the statue of Liberty. But it was JUne so it was warm.

Yes, June I would consider, but winter months, no way! Doesn't matter so much now because we moved away from there before I got a chance to do it.

We have cruised under the bridges and past the Statue of Liberty quite often in smaller vessels, but it was always a wonder to see!

What fun! Since our kids are waaaaay too old for that now we play hide and seek on Cabo. Last week I hid in the car and kept calling for him. Poor little guy was going nuts trying to find me. At first he was mad and then he started wimpering so I gave in.

We are playing hide and go seek with DS and DDIL in October. We are going to be hiding on the Magic. They will never be able to find me.

It's a very rainy day here in Maine. I was planning on going fishing this morning with our middle son but I don't like getting wet in the boat.
So instead of fishing Nancy and I are house cleaning. I just got through washing the kitchen and dining room floor.
Leisha I wish I could been down to your place during Derby Week. It must have been a mad house.
Have you and Tom decided what excurisons your doing on the cruise? I think we will take Joannes advise seeing she has been there.
I would love to try snorkling again. The last time was at Castaway two years ago and the water wasn't very clear and it was rough.

Hello eveyone! I went to the gym and am now at work listening to the rain bounce off my window and AC unit in my office. The occasional rumble of thunder is cool too.

Since it is raining it is a slow boring day here at work. Its also still early in the month and people still have their assistance checks.

Yep, the kids are out of school. Today will be a busy day of errands and my first school board meeting this afternoon. It is storming outside, so I am not looking forward to getting out.

Our kids don't get out until the 22nd. Had a few snow days and I don't think they started until after Labor Day this year.
