I won't update the BOB Dis Tag list until after July 4th when you have a finalized list. If you could send me the final list then by email or PM, I will make sure the list is updated

As for the way we are playing.....

It was I who suggested that we do NOT follow a list order like last time. The reason being is that we found it very time consuming to take each individual tag gift up and down all those decks. Also, we had to wait until we were tagged before we could deliver our next gift but sometimes we wouldn't get any tags for a long time and then we would get 2 of them when it was really inconvenient for us to deliver ours and we didn't want to hold up the game.

So, that is why I suggested just to make a list of all players and deliver your tag gifts whenever you like to.


What I was going to do...not sure if it's still going to work....is list the DIS tag players in order of DECKS on the BOBigator. Then you can pick a deck (maybe we can assign decks?) and start from there going in order of decks.

I do know that some people will be delivering all of their gifts right away, so it may not work for everyone.

Does that make sense

Just wanted to add that the BOBigator won't be complete until the beginning of October. It will contain a list of all BOBers and their celebrations as well as all scheduled BOB meets and DIS TAG players (if we decide to list them there). You can then print it off before you leave and bring it with you on the ship as a reference

So we'll have 30 bobers participating, correct? We could say that we'll each deliver 5 per day. So whether we have a list and go in that order, or go in the order of decks, if we are limited to 5 (or 6) per day, then everyone will be giving and receiving the same amount of gifts each day. Clear as mud, right?

Edited: I guess limiting to 5-6 per day would work better if we use the kk method.

I know I am behind the curve, but are you guys traveling in an RV, on bikes, or some other means? How long are you traveling (this trip)?

We are on our harley heritage soft tail. We have riden around 3500 miles. We have been on the road 3 weeks yesterday. We have 3 more weeks left. We are staying in my parents house in Massachusetts till Monday. Today we eat supper with all members of family. seafood. fried whole clams, clam chowder and clam cakes. Yummy. Tomorrow is nephew's graduation party. That will be fun will be seeing all my brothers, sisters, nephews and nieces. On Sunday, we are driving into Boston to Red Sox game. We will borrow brother's car to drive in. They are playing the Texas Rangers. What a game we will get to see. Then on Monday off to brother's house in New Hampshire. Tuesday we leave to go to California until Friday. Granddaughter is graduating from high school. We are flying there from Manchester, New Hampshire to Ontario, California. We haven't seen grandkids in four years. We are very excited to see them. Diane

If I recall, we also spent a lot of time running around delivering one at a time after being tagged, and it did take up some time. I think that just having a list and following it will prevent that, and the 5 or so a day is mainly so everyone doesn't deliver their tag gifts on the first day. I know part of the fun for me was getting little gifties throughout the week. Doing 5 or 6 once a day would probably not take up as much time as waiting to be tagged and then going to tag someone.

However, if a person were to deliver their gifts by floor/deck....I don't think anyone would ever really know or care...

MG, we are following the KK rules - when you get your list you will start with the name listed after yours on the list.

I'm happy to follow the majority and deliver whichever is best for most people

I have never been on an Eastern, but my mom has heard Sapphire Beach is nice. I wonder if it's less crowded because there are no "excursions" to there (at least no DCL ones)....

Thats what I was thinking - may be less busy than the others. I hate crowded beaches. That severn mile beach last time was deserted almost and georgous

We had a stop there on our Island tour last week. Very pretty, it was not crowded at all, but we were the only ship there. The bathrooms were icky... We didn't spend much time there just took pictures bought drinks and used the icky bathrooms. The beach is beautiful and the people that were there were snorkling and just relaxing. Looks very nice.

Suggestions so far have been:

1. Any way you want in any order, approx 5 per day (apart from some people who need to deliver all on day 1)

2. By deck number, approx 5 per day

3. By starting with the person under you on the list and delivering approx 5 per day.

4. Dont bother with everyone elses gifts and just deliver me a big prezzie on day 1 instead

(Personally I like option 4 the best)

I don't think it matters in which order the gifts are delivered if we keep it to 5-6 per day. Also, that gives us the freedom of delivering them at the time of day that is convenient for each of us.
