Good afternoon DIS. Seems how I could not fall asleep until after 5am, I ended up sleeping until 12pm. Now I am getting ready to start day two of my six day work week. I will try to check in from work. In the mean time, enjoy your day everyone.

I put them there just for you Karen. ;)

Now get off my back! :rotfl2:

I wasnt on your back........... I was on your googleys:lmao:

Attention UK BOBers:

Susan Boyle told Oprah that she was "Gob Smacked" when talking about her performance on Britains got talent. Does that mean slapped in the face, dumbfounded, shocked???? :confused3

shocked, amazed, etc:thumbsup2

Hiya Chris :wave: It's a weird day for me. We keep getting bad news. :sad2: Every phone call or text I get the news get's worse. But, that's why I come to the DIS....to escape from the real life. :banana:

:hug::hug::hug::hug:

I HATE PACKING.

I enjoy packing,... the bit I cant stand is the lining up at the airport to check in.... absolutely hate that part, hauling luggage and a stroppy kid up and down queues til its finally your turn. I always pick the wrong queue with the dumb check in person who takes 4 times longer than the others.:rolleyes: I am NEVER in a good mood at check-in:sad2: my holiday starts... when I am sat in my plane seat.:thumbsup2:cool1:

I wonder how many hoursof my life I have wasted trawling through internet sites?:confused3

Must be hundreds:rolleyes:

Been hunting for a cheap summer break, Greece, Spain, anywhere.... there is no such thing:sad2:

Every time I think I have found something theres a glaring fault in the holiday - eg flight times are hideous unless you're nocturnal:rolleyes:, 10 miles from the beach etc

I'm giving up for tonight.

I did something fun for Ellis today to try to get him to complete his homework - due in tomorrow:rolleyes1

I made a menu... "The Masons Restaurant".

Put all his favourites starters, mains and desserts on it (with prices!)

Greeted him at the door and took him to his table and let him order off the menu.... then made him do some homework while I cooked.

Every bit he completed I knocked the price of the course off:rotfl:

He still owes me for dessert:rotfl2:

You're really creative Karen. Or is creative another word for devious?:rotfl:

Yes, I'm with you Karen. I still don't like packing.

I'm a packing obsessive though... I have lists of absolutely everything that has to go in. No one else can pack, no-one can "help" or touch the cases, and god forbid anyone who REMOVES:scared1: anything from the case once its been put in and crossed off my lists:rotfl: I actually enjoy it!... its the "trying on to see what fits me that makes me :sad1:"

DEVIOUS?:scared1:.... MOI!?:scared1:....................::yes::

Got our tickets today too. Mickey & Minnie!

We got our tickest too. Tommy opened them and wanted to know which of us was not going. He has decided to go with us so I had to order another ticket. I am glad he is going.

Oh I want to come!!!
Well Lady put yourself in gear HA HA. Boy I wish you could be there. I know DI, Walt and Chris would love to meet you.
Remember if it wasn't for you girl we wouldn't be doing it. Cowersion in the Tropics lest you forget. Nancy still is laughing about that.
