Yeah, that's the reason we are staying there. I like AKV better, more my style but you can't beat walking to and from MNSSHP

Karen, I use Photoshop CS4 Extended and it's a powerful program!! I upgraded from CS2 (bought in 2005) and it cost me $400 USD but it also comes with many other design programs. I use it a lot but even for me it's overkill. There's many features that I haven't even looked at yet and I've had it for 2 months almost.

I taught myself Photoshop many years ago but I would love to take an advanced class.

You may be interested in Photoshop Elements, which is Photoshop's baby brother It's about $99 USD and works well for photographers. It takes a bit to learn but not nearly as bad as the regular Photoshop.

Just got a call from the lady who I'm renting DVC points from and my waitlist has come through

We are now spending Halloween night at Bay Lake Towers

I am happy because this means we can just walk back to our resort when we are done for the night at MNSSHP

So after the cruise we will be heading there for some pool time for Kira and hopefully a nap too

Is it October yet?????

I am home again with this stupid cold but my ears are super infected so my balance is way off.. I just can't risk falling at work with my bad knee.. plus my hacking cough would drive everyone nuts...lol

It sure is I'm glad to have that taken care of because it is looking like Al will be layed off for the next week or two and then who knows how much longer he'll be working after that, there just are not that many homes being built around here right now. I knew that was a good possibility of him being layed off for stretches before the cruise so any extra hours I've picked up that money has been going to pay towards the cruise and I've been making payments to Dreams so that money wouldn't get spent on something else.

Sorry to hear about Al. Maybe Belle will learn a few more tricks while he's off for a bit. Great dog btw...I don't think I told you that.

DC was great, thanks for asking. We did not get everything we wanted in. However, we're already planning on going back. If the fares are cheap over Labor Day, we may sneak it in at that time.

The hotel in Alexandria was great. Not that far from the Metro, so easy access to everything. We'll probably stay down there again next time.

No pictures posted. Actually sending them up to Wal-Mart's site right now so Suz can order pictures for her scrapbooking day tomorrow.

There were pics of the DIS meet. I want to say they were posted starting around page 89. I can't remember.

Thanks Nancy, yeah she is a great dog but Rach and I always say we think Al loves her more than us I am hoping he can use this time to get some things done around here from the "honey do" list.

Glad she had a great time, as we live here we probably dont appreciate its beauty,(When is not raining).

Glad that the hotel worked out for you, I know we found that area to be very convenient when we stayed near there. After talking to you and my friend from work that is going later this month I've been thinking it would be nice to get back to DC and Williamsburg in the next few years.
I'll have to look back at the pictures from the meet later, it's such a nice day here I'm going to go take Belle for a nice long walk.

Hi Cath, I'll really try and get some of her pictures posted this weekend! That sure is true about how you don't appreciate the area you live in and how there are things you never see or do around your own area that "tourists" see. The weather was great when she was there, she kept saying she doesn't know why everyone that lives there complains about the weather all the time, it was beautiful while she was there.
