Those roads look nice, especially the last one you posted.

The elevation is only about half of what we went over going from LA to Vegas. I think we topped 5,300 on that route. It was a pretty flat incline.

On the way to Edna's (Suz' friend who lives near Vegas), it is probably 2,500 feet. Guess it wouldn't be too bad then in WV. Plus, that one road is 3 lanes it looks.

Most are going up the mountains so the trucks can get in the far right lane.

Have you all ever gone in the Tamarak? It is pretty neat. Lots of local artists crafts.

usually we just fill up the car at the tamarak area.(and maybe potty.) one year on the way home though we took our time and checked it out. very nice

Hello everyone. I am back home after programs.

The last time I was in WV was driving to Kentucky from Altoona, PA. My parents Taurus had some weird electrical stuff going on the day before we left. It snap crackled and popped in the area of the HVAC controls. Everything stopped. They drove right to the Ford dealer and the only rental they had was an Escort. We had to drive the Escort to Kentucky! Me and my 6ft+ self, was stuck in the back with my sister for the 500 mile trip. My knees were killing me by the time we got there.

We got back, and the dealer couldn't figure out what was wrong and I don't believe it ever did that again.

Pretty much! I don't do small cars anymore, and a lot of it comes from that experience.

So I just got off the phone with my neighbor. They want to go on a Disney Cruise!!! They've never cruised before either. I'm going to giver her my DCL planning dvd. Too bad I didn't know this sooner. DCL just had their special on the Travel Channel yesterday.


Christian, when did you order your mnsshp tickets? I wonder if they are coming Fed Ex like Cass and Bernie's did? Cabo doesn't mind the Fed Ex or UPS men, it's just the packages they leave behind.

I ordered my tickets on 5/1. i didn't receive any shipping confirmation. Could it be they are coming US Mail?? Perhaps Cass and Bernie got theirs via Fedex because they were sent internationally.
