Buying the tape adapter is a lot cheaper and has better quality.

Mine seems to work really good. Tape itself is inherently (sp?) bad though. That is why they've gone to CD. Plus, most cars don't have both (although our Bravada and Prizm do. The Accord only has CD).

Famous people.........

I have met:

Rob Lowe (only everynight in my dreams:lovestruc)
John Grisham
Sissy Spacek
AFEG

In concert:
Tiffany
The Jets
Randy Travis
George Strait
Pink:banana:
Justin Timberlake:cool1::love:
The Jonas Brothers
Willie Nelson
Charlie Pride
The Beach Boys
Carrie Underwood
Phil Vassar
Dave Matthews
I'm going to see U2 in October.

Scott was about hit by John Cusack (on a bike) last year in Chicago.
Scott met Shirley Jones and Hugh Downs when he was a waiter at The Marriott in Norfolk.

I guess that is it.

The year our car is, 2005, was the last year before Toyota added the input. Incidentally, it was also the last year they offered a cassette deck/CD combo.

Someone I know got a 2006 Sienna, with the same option package and theirs had the input and CD only radio.

I think you'll be hard-pressed to find a car with a cassette deck now days. Eventually, you won't see them anymore.

Don't worry about the milestones. There are 50 :sail: per thread. With at least 10 more threads, but most likely more, that is 500 :sail:.

On the Repo, they stopped going for them at the 100 level because they were coming up so much that all that was on the board was races for the 100 level :sail:, or pirate: in their case.

They moved strictly to the 1,000 level. But now that the threads are split, you really have to do the math to know where each XX,000 is. I know there isn't one on this thread though. You can always go with the X,000 on the individual threads.

That is way to confusing! I am not at work and that is way too much thinking for home!:rotfl:

My full size van only has the CD as well. Last Christmas I kept saying I was going to buy a FM modulater/charger so I wouldn't be so bored as I drove hours a day. Luckily sports talk kept me going during the day, but Delilah put me to sleep at night! :lmao:

Hey Lori, I just did a Google Map search and it looks like if we were to drive out at the end of summer, it is only 13 1/2 hours. We could pluck 4-5 off the first night, sleep somewhere and complete the other 8-9 the next day.

L has 6 days off between when Summer Camp ends and School begins. We could almost do 3 full days out there in August.

I take too much work home that I need to go to work to clear my head.

You will see that 10 post or so leading up to the 100 milestone and about 10 after will be all about who got the milestone. That will be 20% of the posts then. It got to be way too much on the Repo thread because those numbers would push to 15 or 20 each way of the milestone.

Now it is 800+ miles, so maybe I could get that done in 10 hours. :rolleyes1 :scared1: :rotfl2:
With your iPod touch, you could get the Trapster application to tell you where the speed traps are!!! I have it for my BlackBerry Storm, but never used it. In the heavily congested tri-state area, I just go with the flow!

You need to listen to John Tesch instead of Delilah. :thumbsup2

Although, with the music channels on the cable, I don't have to listen to either. Just turn on whatever I'm in the mood for.

We will be here! Come on out. Look up the Charlottesville area and see if there are things you want to check out. 3 Presidents homes within 25 minutes. Skyline drive in only 10 minutes. You might even get to see our neighborhood bear!!!!! He has already gotten into our trash the last 2 Thursday nights!!!!!!!!!:scared1:

How does that work if it doesn't get current data input such as via satellite or radar detector?

That would be cool though.

Just re-ran the directions, that would be about 850 miles and a slightly different route. What is I-64 in the WV Mountains like? I don't like "drop off" roads.

Doesn't sound like 3 days would be enough for that area. Then again, if I can fly for $120 RT each, that would get us more time.

i-64 in WV is not bad at all. Only one pretty bad mountain "Sandstone Mountain". Lots of trucks lose their brakes and loads of accidents. But not really too bad. it is not a drop off mountain just long and at a steep grade. But it is a beautiful drive. If you would exit at the bottom of that mountian you are only 30 minutes from where I grew up!

And I'd have to drive over that mountain?

I come from flat farmland country miss.

Oh Good Grief......I'll meet you and drive you over the mountain. Anyways, the way it sounds the way you drive Suz and L would think they were on a Rollercoaster! Ir better yet, since it is so close to home I'll have Tanya come over and drive you.:rotfl:

Works for me.

So it looks like I-77 goes south through WV. Is the problem area on the State Highway from Dayton to I-77?
