OK, people. Name some of the most famous people you have ever met or seen in person. No fair using Disney Characters or members of a sports team unless you REALLY met them.



Maria Von Trapp (I actually got to talk to her)
Larry Bird (he stayed at the same hotel in Kissimmee as we did).

Willie Nelson (blech!!!)

Alabama (met them all in person)

hmmmm, that's all I can think of right now. Anyone else willing to share??

President George H.W. Bush--I invited him to a fund raising event and he accepted! I don't have any digital pictures, but normal photos. I got a personalized letter from him, addressed to me.

Barbara Bush--Invited her to the same fundraising event 3 years after 41, she too accepted. I have the picture, but it is on computer at home. I will post later.

I can't remember the sports people I met as a kid, but it wasn't many. I've been in restaurants with retired sports figures. Can't recall being in close proximity of any Actors/Actresses.

Most of my famous people, and they aren't really famous, would be CEO of Fortune 500 companies (i.e. my board members).

Now Suz on the other hand, she has met a lot of famous people through work.

I am going with my babysitter (who is like a sister) and a neighbor friend. It was my neighbor's husbands idea.

I also met Joe Peptitone. He was a Yankee player in the 1960s. I also met actor Edward Burns a few months ago. He was a real friendly guy.

I was also walking behind Goose Gossage last year at Mohegan Sun. He is a BIG guy! I don't look up to many people, but I did to him!

Wow, we are really close. i don't think I got one milestone for KK1. Maybe this cruise I can at least snag one before Oct!

Scott has an ipod touch.

Sammi left her shuffle in her jeans and it got washed. I told her she can either get a new shuffle now, or wait until just before the cruise and we will get her a nano. She wants the nano so she can watch movies on it.

In the meantime, she is using my classic on roadtrips.
