CONGRATULATIONS JOANNE!!! :yay::yay::yay:

That is such great news!!!

I agree! - congrats Joanne:yay:

Great news Joanne. That has to be a relief.

Another googley!

Well, you're neither one to me. It was the song you picked out for Spencer and it's first on his cd. BTW...he still plays it.

How is Spencer Nancy? and his Mom too?

Or you can just call me "Swiper". :rotfl:

I remember the days of watching Dora. Wish I still had the little boy who watched that show. Darn kid grows up too quickly. :sad1:

oh man!!!!!

Me too Jeff...

Seeing your avatar bought back lovely memories of a chubby toddler screming "Wipey no wipeing" at the screen:cutie: Ellis use to scream it when he saw Swiper and hold out his hand at the tv - too cute:cutie:

Yes, I don't like the empty nest!! I dread next summer when Patrick graduates from FSU and the Airforce sends him off. he says he should know in September where that will be. Scott now says once he gets the CPA he too wants to move to NY!! He wants to live in a big city. At least when they were in college they were only 3 hours away.

With cell phones these days you can talk to your kids every day. We all have Sprint phones. (kids and grandkids) Right now I am talking to my daughter in Dallas. She calls me every day on way to work and home. Once she graduated from high school she moved to Aggieville and never really moved back. She came home the first two summers when she was in college. Once she graduated from college she moved to Dallas and has lived there every since. Course Kristen lives here in San Antonio so I talk to her every day a million times.

I spy through my googly eye: Jeff!

JLDSMD (Jeff) got the 100th post and therefore earns one BOBer to add to his siggie line!!!

Every 100th post = 1
Every 500th post = 2
Every 1000th post = 3

The current score is:

captchris - 3 (2000)
JLDSMD - 3 (1700,1900,2100)
millerpjm - 1 (1800)

Next award is for one BOBer at 2200!

Last week, when we had our VAWI dismeet, we were all having dessert and a few had key lime pie. I'm not a huge fan, but I just noticed on the food porn thread that there is key lime fudge in the MK.

That made me remember the Celebration Key Lime Pie from the Flying Fish: key lime pie with an Oreo crust, topped with fresh panna cotta & lime zest, served with Pineapple Sorbet and Chocolate Accoutrements!

SWIPER, NO SWIPING!:rotfl:

OMG, I just had a flashback to endless episodes of Dora the Explorer. :rotfl2:

Let's ask the map!

We can go through the woods.... around the giant rock.... and up the hill. Yeah!

That darn Swiper!

Matthew

Hi Joanne! Glad to hear you're having a good time with your boys!:goodvibes Did you have a hard time when your first left home. I still have Emily for two more years, but I am really dreading her leaving. Rob keeps telling me that since we've lead the life we having (moving so much and not settling back where we were raised) we should expect that our children will not live close to us when they leave us. I tell him, "STOP TALKING!":rotfl:

We were Air Force Brats and my brother and I live about 5 miles from each other and our parents so there is hope. :thumbsup2 When My oldest went to college a few years ago. I cried for days and it was awful. I was happy when he came home and enjoyed the time he was home with us except for the fact that he is a slob. A couple of weeks ago he moved out (he is getting married in July) and I was doing a happy dance.:dance3: It is amazing how things change in a couple of years.

I did try on all the clothes, so the only shopping is a new pair of sneakers, some shorts and a bathing suit. The dinner clothes will be ok. I did buy two books and sunscreen, so I guess I am ready!

Books sunscreen and a bathing suit what else will you need? :thumbsup2

I want some, I want some, right now! I missed where that was BTW.

Flying Fish, at the Boardwalk. It's one of the special desserts created for Celebrate Today!

The best part is that it actually tasted better than it looked! It might possibly be the BEST dessert I've ever had at WDW!

Morning kids. How's everyone today?

Full day at work today for me (although it will be interrupted by server outages - we're replacing them).

nice new avatar there Jeff.. very apropo..lol :lmao:
