Hello everyone...

We had a great morning at the kids games. Sam got a few good kicks and I thought for a short time that she would get the goal. Jay got his first Little League hit and ended up going 2 for 3.

To celebrate, I bought chinese for all of us for lunch. Now its time to DIS and watch the Yankees.

:yay: Steve! :cool1:
I'm getting close to being able to say I have the cruise payed off too!

It's a nice feeling. I especially loved getting an email from Dreams Unlimited telling me that I can now pre-book for excursions, Palos, etc.

I'm assuming that they are taking my requests and once the proper timeline opens for my reservations (i.e. 90 day mark) they will handle all those for me. If that is true, that's a real nice service!

Hey Steve...Great news on the final payment and NYE vacations. I am sure you are stoked!

We're of to see these guys tonight

Bev, Dave, Nicola and James

It's Nicola's birthday on Monday

This was last year on the Independence.

Great pics Heather! :thumbsup2 You all look lovely. :lovestruc
Nicola has the most beautiful eyes too.

And this was us on KK1

Myself, Bev's dad and Nicola.

I spy with my one little eye some more KKers up top. Could it be Janice and Mark over on the right hand side? I see the green bracelet on her. :)

Fantastic! Laura and I discussed going on Oct 23rd, but decided against it. We didn't want a late night just before the cruise, and besides I'm jazzed about meeting up with all the BOBers that night!

Then how about the 22nd instead?

Well, I paid off the Cruise today! YAY! Now it's just saving money for spending. (oh, yeah and paying off the New Years trip to London) Yeah, I booked it today. It was $2300 total with trip insurance and taxes. We went with the nice hotel. Got to work this morning and put in my vacation request. Thanks Karen for that link, it was a big help in deciding on the trip. Now, I have to break the news to the kids that they're not invited. I don't look forward to that.

Congrats Steve. I'll be cancelling a cruise that I had booked for Oct of 2010 next week and that deposit is going on the BOB cruise. I never realized that Dreams would take care of your bookings. WOW...that really is a great service then. AAA won't do that. :upsidedow

Yep, we've been perusing travel sites all morning.

I'd love to do the 22nd but we fly in that day and land at the airport at 7pm then have by the time we got to WDW i'd be around 8-9pm and then we've wasted half of it. Would've been a blast though!

About the Dreams service, I'm going to check it out tonight and let you know how it goes.

Come to think of it, what a bonanza for Dreams Unlimited that Disney picked the name Dream for one of it's ships.

Congrats to everyone who got their MNSSHP tickets :hmghost:

I ordered ours too for 10/22 and 10/31 :thumbsup2 I'm a little steamed that they are charging us the shipping two times because they can't combine the orders

And also a little ticked that they haven't put them up for sale on their website :sad2: And because they've gotten rid of all their old toll free lines, everyone now has to pay to call for the tickets! :sad2:

Boy, they sure know how to suck you dry ::yes:: :rolleyes1

I hadn't thought of that!!! I was on the phone for maybe 20 minutes! :scared1: I should have used my cell. I never go over minutes!

This is the first time I've ever had to call Disney directly! :sad2: Normally I use a 1-800 number but they've all been disconnected. Good thing I waited to call today because it took about 10 minutes unlike some people who called yesterday and were on hold for 20-60 minutes!! :scared1:

I have a feeling it will be the same way for ADR's come July :sad2:

I called from work so that will be a receivable for the work accounting system. I think my total call was 20-25 minutes. About 15 of it I was on hold. My mom was on hold and we were IMing each other with the various songs and soundbites from being on hold. A couple of my favorites...

Youuuuuuuurrrrr atttentionnnnnn pleasssseeeeee, the Wallllllt Disneyyyyy Railroadddddd is now boarindinggggg at Main strreeeeeet Statioonnnnn, Board

I'm walking right down the middle of Main Street USA....

The latter I remember from watching the Sing Along Songs videos when my kids were younger.

I called this morning at 7:45 our time and got right through. No "hold" at all.

My hold was about 30 seconds :thumbsup2 Two full minutes to get through the menu and then about 7 minutes to place my two orders. :goodvibes

Oh I know.. I am just sooo happy that it might finally happen :goodvibes

the next house we are looking at is a much older home (1980) and is right next door to a co worker.. but it is bigger and has a garage...plus my new neighbour is a renovation god!..mwhahahhahaa

Bernie, I've had to change around my schedule a bit in order to do MNSSHP on the Thursday so I've had to change T-Rex to Sunday the 18th which is AK day, which works because the park is usually closed by 5pm anyway :thumbsup2

1980 is old??? :lmao::lmao:

Our house was built in 1945. All rooms only have 2 outlets, and our closets are tiny, but apart from that, I love it. Our house in Maine was built in 1989. It had plenty of outlets, but all of the rooms except for the huge sunken living room with cathedral ceilings were on the small side.

I am going to be painting the garage this week, doing landscaping to really dress things up. I think I may take down the shutters and paint them as well. They are a little faded.
