Hey everyone...

Decorated the hall, had the wedding rehearsal and a picnic afterwards. It's been a good day.

We just had a dancing lesson... We were cracking up. Got some great video. :lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

I WILL be posting it on the boards. Don't mind my jammies.

Busy day tomorrow... Picking up flowers at 9 AM, going to the hall at 10 for makeup and the cake delivery. Cassie's pics at 11, Kips pics at 12.

Prepare the cookie table....and so it begins. We're losing our baby tomorrow.

:sad1: We're handling it just fine...Who knows what tomorrow holds. :):scared:

Best wishes to the happy couple! And much love to you and Cinnamike. Y'all have a great day!:grouphug::grouphug::grouphug:

Add another two to the list

Yes, the Brits are joining the 31st BOB group as well!

Thanks for the reminder! I just got off the phone with Member's Services as well. We have our four ticket for 10/31/09! :thumbsup2

This was the first time that I had to buy an 'adult' ticket for Sarah. She turns 10 on 10/28, 3 days earlier.

:dancer::dancer: MACK AND MIMI HAVE TICKETS - WE'LL BE THERE!!!

:jumping1:

congrats to all! I'm kinda envious. we decided not to stay that extra night so I'll be eating my heart out while all of you go on to the party!

Here's a question for all of the Bob'er Brits out there. Laura and I are seriously thinking about spending New Years Eve in London. I can get a deal (air and hotel) for about $2000 for the two of us staying at a place called the "Royal Lancaster Hotel" Seemed like a great deal for air from California AND a Hotel for 6 nights. Does anyone know the hotel and the area it is in? I'm probably not expecting 1st class accomodations but I'd like to make sure that we'll be comfortable.

Laura's so thrilled that I'm thinking about spiriting her away that she can't hardly stand it.

Take their arm and bite it clean off,i can't book the hotel stay there for that kinda money let alone air fair thrown in......The location is just off park lane across the street from Hyde park(nice walk first thing on a morning and you may spot someone famous riding out their nag there, but a bit :scared1: being confronted in the dark by 4 lads dressed all in black having a martial arts lesson :rotfl 2: long story:rolleyes1)and Mayfair where a nice three story town house will cost you $45m (but may need some works doing to it :scared1:). Steve just remember like any other Big City everything is very, very expensive but at those prices it looks like an opportunity you can't miss, from a security point of view don't leave the beaten track stick to all the touristy routes and you'll be just fine.....:)

PS....Heather is there lady you need to "chat" with as London is her Manor,Karen is 70 miles away,us,Cath and Sean a 130 miles further North......:rolleyes1

Steve - I think Chris has said it all. What I will say is that it's a great location for New Years Eve. You'll be in the centre of London and be able to walk back from the Thames after all the Midnight celebrations.

Thanks! You've made me feel much better about it. The hotel in Paris that was on the same deal was appearently in a poor part of town and Laura didn't have a great feeling about it. But she was very excited about the prospect of going to London. Laura's been to Europe before but I have never been so I'm looking forward to it as well.

OK, Here we are just hours away from the VA DISmeet. Beth is home from her midnight shift at the hospital and getting some sleep. I am taking the kids out to the mall for the morning. Somehow they have it in their head that their Mom would like a Build A Bear for Mother's Day! And they might just have to get a couple of small ones to go with the "Momma Bear" to be her "kids". I'm quite suspicious of this gift and who it is really for. :rotfl2:

I plan to take a camera to the DISmeet and come home and post the pics tonight. The restaurant is only 8 miles from our house.

Hey Bernie,
Noticed your MS line. I just found out (via facebook) that an old high school friend of mine was diagnosed today with MS. I had a teacher at school that has it too. I hope your walk goes well, it's a great cause.

This will be our 5th walk we have done. My husbands cousin has it and it is very sad :sad2:

OK is everyone at the wedding??..lol this has been the slowest week ever on the DIS.. :confused3

Our saturday is going to be us looking at a house for sale in a town just outside of Calgary called Okotoks. It looks like the housing has hit the bottom of the barrel and to not buy right now is crazy.. I think we will be seeing it rise quickly in the next couple of months.. so we are off to see what we can perhaps get :goodvibes

The husband has even been quoted as saying "when we buy this house.. we should look at a new washer and dryer" :scared1: I almost fell off the chair... Cass will totally understand why..lol :lmao:

But in doing this we will have to pinch our pennys big time to make sure that nothing else suffers like a fantastic cruise!..lol but we just cannot pass this chance to move forward in our lives.. I have to laugh because my whole life has been backwards.. I had kids...got married....got a car...dream vacation...buy a house...Dyslexia for the win! :woohoo:

anyways I hope everyone comes back soon! I miss trying to catch up..lol
 to everyone!

Good morning everybody another beautiful day here in Maine. Right now it's about 60 degrees just right for walking which Nancy and I are going to be doing in a few minutes.
We are celebrating our middle sons birthday today he is 38 and at the end of the month our oldest will be celebrating his 40th Ouch. Its just doesn't seem possible and our youngest will be 32 in July. Where have the years gone. Just seemed like yesterday we were chasing them around the house.
Im glad everybody got there MMNSSHP tickets yesterday. It sounds like when we all get off the boat we will be heading for the MK:dance3::yay:.
Everybody have a great day and weekend.

Dan

not the 31?..lol grats chickie!!

We want to be free birds on the 31st Bernie. We'll have our hoppers handy along with our stacks of old passes for the water parks just in case we decided to do something. :)

And yes, we are in Ohio already. Cass, Rob and Kira picked us up late yesterday evening and we drove through the night. We're here now but I think that dirty Dawg gave us the wrong address for the reception. The address we got was for "Hooters". :goodvibes

Good luck with the house hunting Chickie.
