How are things? Are the bride & groom getting nervous yet?

They are doing fine. They finalized the table placement, menu and decorations for the reception on Friday. The ceremony placement under a tree. Tommy had to mention the fact that birds live in that tree and may use them as target practice so they are moving the placement just a little. Every thing is going great! I need to start hinking about the rehearsal dinner.

Yeah, and we only did 40,000 posts on the KK thread. I think we were only at 5k or 6k at this point in 2007 (April before the cruise). So we did almost 35,000 posts in 6 months. That is a lot. I think we'll do more this time.

Joanne only a few more weeks left. How are things going with work?

It's interesting, I have three and a half weeks left. The word of the day- week -month is clueless. I feel sorry for the people here when we are gone. The big wiggs tell me there is another aquisition in the works and if that happens, then they want me to go over there. But it is all so hush hush I just go on thinking 5/15 is my last day. I am cleaning up all my balance sheet accounts so they are neat and tidy to pass them over. My replacement should have had payroll billings aout last Thursday- Friday at the latest and so far nothing........ I refuse to ask cause she need to figure it out.

Hi everyone.....just a quick post to say my girl is fine. Ultrasound showed everything is clear. The doc says it's probably gastritis. She needs to take some meds for a few days and keep and eye on her diet. She is your typical teen with bad eating habits....always eating on the go...not enough "good foods"....too many hot pockets.....and she is so busy right now that I am thinking she has a little stress to add to it all.

She'll be fine though. This will be a good life lesson for her.

I am off in a little bit to tour the historical Marine Barracks at 8th & I in DC. I've seen the performace of the Silent Drill Team before, but this will be my first time on a tour. They'll also take us through the Commmandant of the USMC's house. I'll try to remember to take my camera. Would y'all like to see any pics?

I was wondering today... Does Disney historically have a double dip cruise in the fall ot is it more by their whim?

I believe those we planned cruises. It use to be the second Western of the month (or something like that) would go out on a double dip. I know the Wonder is doing them on the 4-night sailings in 2010.

My friends at work want to do a double dip cruise in 2011. I'm hoping that there is one. They've heard me talk up Castaway Cay so much that they are already sold on it!
