I read Nancy's post about the poem and realized that I am almost at 6000 posts so I started to write my poem

I now have 6 lines
I thought it would take me a week to write it but it seems to be coming together ok. I'm no Karen Mouse but I think it will do

Six thousand posts on the DIS, oh my!
Wow, those 10 years sure did fly by

Six years with hardly a peep, yes I was a loser
Then I got smart and became a Konked Kruiser

Now hardly a day passes that I don’t post
I now have great friends from coast to coast to coast


With the BOB cruise on the horizon
I’m so excited I’m almost crying

Chicken tenders, chocolate croissants and maybe some fries
Ice cream, cookies and peanut butter pies

With only six months left to go
Tickets are booked, I’m raring to go

Door magnets, t-shirt transfers, there’s so much to do
What to get for Dis Tag, I haven’t got a clue

October, I don’t think you could come fast enough
The next six months are sure to be rough

Passing the time with my BOBer friends
Undoubtedly the waiting will soon come to an end

So that’s it for now, it’s all been said
I’ll see you all on the BOB thread​

We just had our 20 year on March 31st, but we both (well at least me) forgot about it until earlier this week.

Congrats! - I would have sent a card if I'd known

Our first date is easy to remember - its our wedding anniversary too...we got married 5 years to the day we met

Yes I am very much so looking forward to seeing her and giving her a graet big hug and then hearing all about her trip and seeing all the pictures.

Can't wait to see her piccies too Sorry we didnt get to meet up with her

Just an update on wii fitness coach for those interested in buying it:

I did it again yesterday... a new "room" opened up to exercise in, I also opened up more music choices.

You can add additional exercise onto it to keep record.... I added my 30 minute walk on from the day before

Also, she asks a few times through the workout if its too easy, working hard or couldnt keep up. I clicked on "too easy" for part of it and she said she would increase the intensity next time, so its definitely tailored to your ability

They cant get a baby sitter so we're having takeout instead.

Whatcha up to tonight kids? I'm watching the Travel Channel (again) and just saw a woman get mauled by a polar bear in Alaska. She was trying to get in close for a good camera shot and he snagged her.

Weird....why would someone put themselves in this much danger, just for a photo.

Just about to tuck Kira into bed and then I am going to workout

Rob and I still have Hell's Kitchen and Lost to watch from the other night, so we will do that after my shower.

Sorry, I was checking on some more stuff for Vegas, I have until next week to book the NY NY unless a better email offer come through. I was just reading about a new resort in Henderson, the M Resort, which sounds really nice for that last night that I still need and the price was looking really good until I saw they tack on a $25 resort fee

We stayed at the Stardust for a couple of nights and it was OK, but we loved our stay at the Luxor. We really want to stay at The Bellagio next time we go, if we can get a good rate.

Chris...I'm fascinated with Baseball and loved the Angels game we went to a couple of years ago. You will have to give me a crash course when we meet up on the teams, leagues, terminology, and game rules, etc.

We haven't seen Bolt yet but I've heard it's good.

We thought it was OK, but the hamster stole the film for us.

We haven't seen Bedtime Stories yet and I really wanted to see that one, we'll have to rent it soon. We did see Quantum of Solace and liked that one.

Now that is a great movie..we saw it last week. Recommended family viewing.
