They do, at least from what I can remember. I know for sure they did in Tampa and Vegas. I can't remember who we used on all the other trips. It is a nice feature.

Cheryl - glad to hear that Rachel is enjoying herself. Are they travelling by train? They have gone from one end of Uk to the other. Our roads are always jammed up. The weather hasnt been to bad since she came over. Its very windy here today though.
Before I go, here are some pics from DC's cherry blossoms......

I did stay the night at the hospital, most of us usually do when we are on-call, it is now a rare night that we don't get called in at least once between 11pm and 7am and it's just too tiring to keep driving back and forth in the middle of the night. One of our ultrasound rooms has a wall full of cabinets that holds our fold up mattress, pillows and blankets and we have all chipped in and bought a TV, VCR and DVD player to help pass the time, so we have "all the comforts of home" so we just sleep there between call-ins, the whole problem is is when they call and wake you up you feel exhausted but by the time you get done scanning the patient and getting the results from the radiologist you are wide awake and then it is hard to fall back to sleep quickly. I worked until 11pm last night and then this morning they called me in at 1am, 4am and then 6:15 am so I have actually been awake since 4 because I couldn't fall asleep after scanning the 2 patients that time so I started DISing. As my sister would say I have a love/hate relationship with being on-call, I love the extra money/bonuses I make on-call but I hate the interrupted sleep, I am lucky though I am usually off the day after I am on-call so I can take a nap if I need.
Alamo had the best price for rental cars in Vegas plus I was hoping they had the feature where you could choose your vehicle. I reserved a SUV, it was the same price as a full size car so we figured why not, we'll be doing a lot of driving we might as well be comfortable

Bryce would be a sophomore, no way to pull out for 2 wks for a repo. We would consider shorter on another line, as long as we had friends.
I've been wanting to do one also. I just don't think we could do it for money reasons. With going to England in August 2010 I don't think we could turn around and do a 2 week cruise.
No repro cruise for us in 2011. Not school holidays so wouldnt be possible.
We havent even got permission to take her out of school for this October yet!!
I would love to do a repo cruise too but there is no way we would be able to do this one eitherRachel will be a junior in high school then and there is no way she could miss that much school. We too would consider shorter or another line at a different time of the year when she wouldn't miss so much school. Like Janice said, as long as we had friends.
That's rough. So you worked until 11 and then were on call? They should schedule someone who wasn't just there for that.
If you nap, make sure it is outside on the lawn chair today. It's going to be beautiful out.
Excuse me, isn't she on a trip to England without you and Al right now?
This would be payback for that trip. Tell her she's NOT coming because of school.![]()

AGREED!!!!![]()
In my opinion, I think Lil and Anoop need to leave before Matt does. Matt has struggled a little with song choice but that guy has oodles of talentWhich is why they saved him I guess

Hi all - I hope this is the right place to put this. Boy, it sure was hard to find the last thread.
We (DH & I) are booked on the October 24th Magic Eastern cruise. I have hesitated to post this because I lost my job and "hope" to still be able to take this cruise - even if I have another job by this (which I certainly hope so).
Anyway, just wanted to let everybody know, that I think we are coming too.
Wow, what a great welcome everybody.
My DH and I have sailed twice with Disney. We did a 3 day in July 2007 with 7 of our friends. We then did a 4 day in November/December 2008 - just the 2 of us. We are from Bowie, Maryland, about 20 minutes outside of Washington, DC. I saw that somebody posted pictures of the Cherry Blossoms. We didn't get a chance to go and see them this year, as in years past -- but they sure were beautiful.
My DH took early retirement from Verizon. As I said before, I was laid off from my job in February. We are currently both working for the U.S. Census and our temporary jobs will carry us until the end of May or the middle of June. It's good to be able to bring in some extra money. We have saved enough for the cruise, so that's not going to be the problem. I am looking for a full-time job and I want to make, being off for this cruise, a condition of me taking any job offer that I get. Taking the 3 and 4 day cruises have really made me excited to take a 7 day. So everybody think good thoughts that we will be able to join you in October.
Well, it's off to "Census". Talk more later.
Not sure if we'll be with Avis or Budget. If Avis, there will be a bunch of BOB dudes coming back on the Avis shuttle.
Currently I'm with Budget, but prefer Avis. I will be relooking at everything this weekend, so that may change.
You can add Rob and Sean to the Avis BOB dudes![]()
Right now we are w/Avis
That thought did cross my mind, we have only gone on one vacation without her and that was when she was 4 and we went to Hawaii for a week to celebrate our 10th anniversary. She stayed part of the week with one of my sisters and part of the week with one of my brothers. If we went and told her she's not coming you will probably hear the yelling at your house![]()
especially if Chris and Hazel go and they take Rosie and Ryan.
Don't say that about Ryan. He thinks I've got a posh voice...does he take after his Dad when it comes to the right things to say to girls?:rotfl 2:
Chris already said the kids are not coming. Just him and Hazel. We'll see though. Just like their trip this summer, we'll see.![]()
Don't go there Sir the "Triplets" are giving so much grief already.....![]()

Yep, back in the day he was shooting missiles/rockets, but now all he shoots are emails........
He's getting too old for that, I say. We've lost too many friends, right?
Speaking of which---Remember our friends, Giap and Dave who were supposed to cruise with us? Well, you know, he was injured very badly in Iraq--lower extremities, barely got out with his life. Don't you know that guy fully recovered (with lots of physical therapy) and has fathered two more children since that injury? Giap found out last week that this latest one (the reason they had to cancel the cruise)is a girl. They had four boys before he got injured and now two girls....hmmmm, I wonder if that's more than a coincidence?

Looks like everyone is doing Budget or Avis for car rental. We still haven't decided, but we may do Enterprise. It's such a pain to do one way rentals online. Anybody else have that problem?

Clearly am not that good with words....AM MARRIED.....![]()
At first I didn't think Simon was going to "save" MattHe is one of mine and Rachel's favorites and we agree that Lil and Anoop should leave before Matt. Rach had me email her after both shows this week to let her know what happened, she said she was afraid to read the email about the results show so she had Ryan read it first for her
She was very happy that Matt was saved! I wonder what 2 will be sent home next week.
