Wow, what a great welcome everybody.

My DH and I have sailed twice with Disney. We did a 3 day in July 2007 with 7 of our friends. We then did a 4 day in November/December 2008 - just the 2 of us. We are from Bowie, Maryland, about 20 minutes outside of Washington, DC. I saw that somebody posted pictures of the Cherry Blossoms. We didn't get a chance to go and see them this year, as in years past -- but they sure were beautiful.

My DH took early retirement from Verizon. As I said before, I was laid off from my job in February. We are currently both working for the U.S. Census and our temporary jobs will carry us until the end of May or the middle of June. It's good to be able to bring in some extra money. We have saved enough for the cruise, so that's not going to be the problem. I am looking for a full-time job and I want to make, being off for this cruise, a condition of me taking any job offer that I get. Taking the 3 and 4 day cruises have really made me excited to take a 7 day. So everybody think good thoughts that we will be able to join you in October.

Well, it's off to "Census". Talk more later.

Do a good job on the census. Future family tree historians (like me) will depend on it. I can't wait for the 1940 records to be released.

BTW, I'm Matthew sailing with DW Beth and DD Megan (12) and DD Sarah (10). They turn 12 and 10 on the cruise. This will be our 3rd cruise as well. We did a 3 Ngt in May of 2008 and an 11 Ngt in July 2007 out of Barcelona. We're hooked!

Morning Everyone

Has anyone been watching "Deadliest Catch"? The new season started on Tuesday. I love that show.

I love this show too. I was wondering when the new season started. Saw the old reruns this weekend.

Thanks Jeff. Read somewhere that you had to purchase an additional day's ticket to get in before 7pm.

We've done this on four separate Halloween parties AT 4pm, they open up one entrance at the very far right end (go all the way to your right, near the bathrooms!) which you can use your party ticket to get in. You get your wristband and your TOT bag.

I find that between 4 and 7pm, we get so much done!!! Especially around 6-7pm because most day visitors are leaving and not a lot of party goers know about the early opening

Think the whole of the UK is covered in rain clouds today. We have a grey sky and lots of the wet stuff here in London.

No, an additional ticket is not required. We've gone at 4:00 everytime we've had "party" tickets (regardless of the party we were going to).

If you are going on the 31st, just get off the ship, go to your hotel and settle in a bit, and head on over mid-afternoon.

When we have gone to a party just on a regular trip to WDW, we usually do a waterpark the day of a "party". Figure we have so many of those passes to use up and after 4-5 hours we're ready to head back to the room, it is a perfect combination.

We did Blizzard Beach the day of the Universal Halloween Horror Nights and by 10pm I was exhausted!! I could barely put one foot in front of the other That was before Kira and we did a LOT of walking up stairs for the waterslides. I promised I would never do that again We will just be relaxing at our hotel on the 31st until 4pm

Next week will be awful with two leaving, Lil has to find the right song!

In my opinion, I think Lil and Anoop need to leave before Matt does. Matt has struggled a little with song choice but that guy has oodles of talent Which is why they saved him I guess

Wonder if a PM to a Mod could get it changed. I see the site hasn't been updated since January. Great idea, but if the person who started it won't keep it up, what good is it?

Maybe get the Mods to add something to the first post of Thread 1 and say something like, "there are several additional threads for this cruise meet. Please go to the last page to link to the next thread until you come to the current thread."

Or, maybe something like, "this is not the current thread for this cruisemeet. Please look on Page 1 of the Cruise Meets board for '10/24/2009 Bash On the Boat - I'm with BOB' to find the currrent thread."
