Becky, I saw the other day on the news all of these schools in LA that were laying off teachers and support staff, how's it in your area?

Hey Becky, not sure if I missed your answer....what did you mean when you said you had bubbles on your cat 9 porthole window???? :confused3

And here's one more of my little pumpkin just after bag check at MK....I think she was looking for Mike & Robin's bricks :thumbsup2:goodvibes

Well, its STILL raining:sad2:

We now have rivers running down the street as the drains can't cope.

Drip, drip drop little April showers:rolleyes1.... more like April floods:rolleyes:

No, an additional ticket is not required. We've gone at 4:00 everytime we've had "party" tickets (regardless of the party we were going to).

If you are going on the 31st, just get off the ship, go to your hotel and settle in a bit, and head on over mid-afternoon.

When we have gone to a party just on a regular trip to WDW, we usually do a waterpark the day of a "party". Figure we have so many of those passes to use up and after 4-5 hours we're ready to head back to the room, it is a perfect combination.

Thanks Jeff. That's what I thought.

We've done this on four separate Halloween parties :thumbsup2 AT 4pm, they open up one entrance at the very far right end (go all the way to your right, near the bathrooms!) which you can use your party ticket to get in. You get your wristband and your TOT bag.

I find that between 4 and 7pm, we get so much done!!! Especially around 6-7pm because most day visitors are leaving and not a lot of party goers know about the early opening :thumbsup2

Thanks Cass, that's a great help.

We are laying off teachers, but not sure how many yet. Waiting on retirements to go through. They are sticking to their guns and not taking a paycut. 220+ pink slips did go out though. It's ugly here.

I will post a pic when I get home. But it is like when they poured the window they didn't make sure the air bubbles came out. It was full of them.

Sorry Karen  I know how you feel though, I chopped off all my hair a couple of months ago and now I am growing it back and it's going to look really bad for the next 6-8 months :scared:

Am I understanding correctly that if you go into MK at 4:00 with your MNSSHP ticket you don't have to also pay regular partk addmission? And I assume you still get access to all attractions?

N

You betcha :thumbsup2 As early as 4pm you can use your MNSSHP ticket (use the entrance furthest to the right) to get in. That's 3 extra hours and it's the best time of the night because there's hardly anyone there. It's not a good time to shop because all the people leaving the park are doing their last minute shopping but it's a fabulous time to do the rides :goodvibes

Hi all - I hope this is the right place to put this. Boy, it sure was hard to find the last thread.

We (DH & I) are booked on the October 24th Magic Eastern cruise. I have hesitated to post this because I lost my job and "hope" to still be able to take this cruise - even if I have another job by this (which I certainly hope so).

Anyway, just wanted to let everybody know, that I think we are coming too.

Hi, I'm the "other" Nancy - Nancy G was on this cruise first which makes the the other one!!! Anyway, DH Dan & I will be on the Oct 24th cruise. We've done 3 DVC members cruises but this will be out first 7 day. We are retired and will be traveling just the 2 of us. Here's hoping you'll be able to follow through with your plans.

Nancy K

And don't forget to get your wristbands and Trick or Treat bags when you go through the turnstyles :thumbsup2

I thought that's the way it was but since everyone was talking about it I thought it was a good time to verify.

Next week will be awful with two leaving, Lil has to find the right song!

I agree. Walt is even watching it this year. He loves it too. My mother and I talk during the entire show during commercials doing our critique. (sp) After the show, I call my girls to ask their opinions. Fun!!!!! Diane
