yep.at mom and dads. had to be the "good son" today. not used to that. i've been over there 4 times in the last week for various fixes.
i told dad..time to sell it and get a condo.

Has anyone been to a re-union? eg school or works etc?

I've been invited to a re-union where I used to work many years ago. I cant decide if I want to go or not

I was thin and young back then, I dont want to walk in and people not recognise me or think "geez, she turned out to be a real porker"

I know it sounds awfully vain, but..........

I'm 30+ pounds heavier than when I worked there, and 20 years older...I'm sure most of the others have aged also, but I'm not happy with myself at the moment... my hair is a mess because I'm trying to grow it and I'm fat

Theres several people I'd like to see who I know are going, but theres one person I do NOT want to associate with (for very good reasons which I wont go into).

Advice? opinions?

Its really local so the cost isnt an issue. I just dont know if I'm brave (or stupid) enough. Neil cant make it because he's at cub camp with Ellis that weekend, so I'd be on my own in the house all evening if I didnt go, so its not like I have anything else planned for that weekend.

seriously though Karen. we went to my 25th (years ago) and hated it.
there was over 400 in my class.
but we went to several of robins and had a great time. they only had 54 in her class. something to be said for a small school i guess. everyone knows each other better.

Dinner is over, food is eaten- way too much, DS # 2 back to college, Mom back to her appartment. Now no more bad eating here. Have to lose some before 5/23...... Only 2 more days at H & R Block and no more taxes.

I've been in those same shoes - sometimes I've gone, others not. But as everyone has said, nobody's going to look like they did 20 years ago so don't worry about that.




My granddaughter & I saw D in Ice in January -great show!

Its not my fault you chickened out. Remember when we had planned on getting our "personality implants" together. It was a "buy 2 get 2 free sale", and you left before surgery, leaving me with the entire bill.!!!!
But i guess everything worked out for the best. I've make a nice career for myself.

Hmm...I have a DCL Horn on Suz' old Verizon phone. Mine wouldn't take it when we did it a couple years ago because it was an older phone.

We just got new phones last weekend, but haven't brought the ringtones down yet.

My phone is the Verizon LG Voyger. It's one of the new line of phones that came out the same time as the Blackberry.
You hve to put in the model of phone when you download. Verizon said it wasn't allowed.

Good morning everyone from upstate New York. We had a decent drive here. The traffice was moving! For a while I was moving with the flow going between 80-85. Once we got past Albany, I just settled in and set the cruise at a more...reasonable speed.

It's good to get online here. My wireless router hooked up no problem to my father in laws cable modem.

I don't think we have any specific plans. I think we will just be relaxing and spending time with family.
