I read reviews and they all say its better than the wii fit. Harder, more like proper exercise than the fitness games on the wii fit. I believe the pauses arent so long either. Thats the one thing that annoys me on the wii fit... it takes too long to switch between sections, so your heart rate comes back down, although I've just unlocked the super advanced boxing - 10 minutes - thats quite a good one:thumbsup2

I know that Outdoor Challenge gets you going. I tried a couple things on that, but haven't done a complete cycle on it. May have to pull that out this week.

I have a funny story:rolleyes:

Over a week ago I bought myself two new planting troughs to put more plants in.

Since then, I have been asking Neil to drill drainage holes in the bottom for me.....and asking.....and asking...and nagging.... and nagging:rolleyes:

Well, he finally got round to doing it for me today. He got his drill out of he car, connected the electricity extension up etc, got them under cover (it was raining)....

It was only then that I realized the holes were already there and had been pre-drilled:lmao::lmao:

A week of nagging and I didnt need him after all:lmao::lmao::rolleyes1

Sorry Neil!:flower3:

:rotfl2:

As Suz would always say to me when I can't find something, "Did ya look!".

I think you owe Neil a lot for that one.

Me too. Neil still plays but I just fall off the sides of the track:rolleyes1

I don't know:confused3... I dont think its as sofisticated as Mario Karts. I've jsut asked Neil to try to connect t osee what happens:confused3

I'll let you know in a short while

Yeah, and when the kids play on the wifi for Mario Kart, they always take the ones where you can fall off the sides. Not the easy ones like the "beach" or the "square". Those are the ones I do when I'm on.

Rainbow Road is the WORST track for me.

BTW, if Ellis goes on at 4:00, Ryan should have the room for Mario Kart.

We havent got that one (yet;):rolleyes1)... family trainer is fun:thumbsup2... dance mat type thing comes with it. Lots of jumping and running - good fun but it makes you breathless

See, Rachel brought the dry weather to the UK with her.

:woohoo:

Karen, I wrote down Ellis' number, you may want to delete if from the public board.

Do I need a Nitro Bike channel like I have for Mario Kart?

Off for a bit. I'll check back maybe while the Mario Kart race is going on. :thumbsup2

BTW, they so need the Wii Speak to work with that game.

Neil never bothers looking first... he just asks me:rolleyes:

I'll tell Ellis to log in at 4pm on Mario then:thumbsup2

Rainbow road is impossible... I dont think I've ever got to the end of a race yet:rotfl2:

I like the shopping mall one:thumbsup2

Outdoor Challenge has the mat as well.

I'll have to have a look at that:thumbsup2

Maybe I'll add it to my wish list for later this year. I enjoy the games we can play as a family. I like cow racing too, but Ellis thinks its boring:rolleyes1... I only like it because I can do it:rotfl:

Holy gab fest last night! I wish I would've known. I check the BOB before I went to bed and no one posted for quite some time. :goodvibes

Thanks everyone for your :grouphug:

Sorry about your friend Chris.

Well, everyone, I think we may not be staying at the Radisson afterall. We are seriously considering flying in the day of the cruise. We can fly out of Richmond at 8 am nonstop, arriving at MCO at around 10 am. I can get a pretty good fare with Airtran, and we would save quite a bit of $$ not having to stay in a hotel, dinner that night, etc. We are considering this because the flight is so early in the day. Otherwise I wouldn't even think about it.

I don't know if I've said this already (I tend to repeat myself--alot), but we have decided to take our kids to Gatlinburg Tennessee (for skiing) on our way home to Louisiana at Christmas, so saving a few bucks by not staying at the Radisson, seems to make sense.

Any thoughts?

Well, since you're asking....Don't do it Sistah P!!! Maybe I'm just the nervous type or because we have further to travel than you, but I wouldn't fly in the same day unless you make your travel plans through Disney. What if there is a shuttle launch that day? Just my 2 cents. :scared:Maybe you have a few Disney Rewards Points you can use towards a room for Friday night????:confused3

I was wondering the same thing, hope she got off okay.

I was thinking about Rachel all day today. I see everything went well. :thumbsup2

Living as far away as we do, I would be nervous to fly down the day of, too many chances to have something delayed. But to save money, to be able to do something else w/the kids would be worth it.

I'm like you Janice, but would also do anything for my kids. It's a tough call.

She got off OK, she was soooooooo excited and just a little nervous. Everything went very smoothly at OHare, we arrived in plenty of time, got her checked in and filled out the unaccompanied minor paperwork. Al and I were both able to go with her through security and and wait with her so we fed her at the Chillis in the airport in case the food on the plane wouldn't be very good or in case she sleeps through the meal they serve. I'll admit I was the one that was still a little nervous about her flying overseas by herself and I did shed a tear or 2 when we said goodbye at the gate :rolleyes1 It sure will be quiet here this week with her gone, I'm not sure Chris realizes what a talkative young lady we have sent him ;)

:grouphug:A late hug for all of you.

Hi Chris, good to see you on here again! Sounds like you have a busy weekend and don't forget about your birthday tomorrow too!
:bday:party:party:Happy Birthday Chris(Morsel)!party:party::bday:

:yay:Happy Birthday Morsel Chris!!:yay:

PS....Nancy,Karen just a nice steady weight loss no hungry strikes and i'll take you guys at your word as to your weight loss.....:worship:

Whoo hooo!!! I'm down 10.6 this week alone!!! :dance3: (ok, ok...more like 1.6) :cutie:

Cass: Love the poochie pics! BTW...I'm still on the camera hunt. I stopped at a camera shop today and asked for advice on my Olympus. Looks like there is nothing I can do to speed up the horrible shutter lag except to buy an SLR. I'm looking at the Nikon D-60 but it's pricey and BIG!!! Other one's I'm looking at are the smaller Sony Cyber Shot W220 and the Canon Powershot SD79015. I'm soooo undecided!!

Wii speak looks fun:yay:... another thing added to my wish list:rolleyes1

I think it has to be used in conjunction with another game. I don't think it is a stand alone.

Can anyone confirm that?

I think it works with City Folks.

Its 4 o clock, off to see if Ellis is connected:thumbsup2

He was there, but Ryan wasn't. E and L startet a game, by the time they got out Ryan was on but playing someone else. Never did meet up with them.

I saw Olivia on today too. She was playing a "worldwide" race though.

This is too cool that the kids can play together like this.

Did you look either up on the websites I sent you? I think the Sony may give you the date stamp you're looking for. Also, if it is a "W", aren't those the water resistent ones? :confused3 Not sure, never really researched Sony when I was buying.

The Canon would be similar to Suz. By the way, that is IS at the end, not 15. It stands for Image Stabilization (which is something you really want). :thumbsup2

As for DSLR's I don't think you'll find a small one of those. I was looking at those for my camera (opposed to Suz who wants a pocket camera). Too pricey and complex for me to deal with. I just like point and shoot. Heck, I still haven't figured out all of my Kodak. :rotfl:

They tried but couldn't get connected for some reason...:confused3

PS...We have a cream cracked young lady in the house, poor kid is out on her feet,oh and the sun is shining.......:rolleyes1
