I really think she will go back a quit, she didn't pay enough attention to do all this. So next week should be interesting. They are closed today for Good Friday- don't understand since they are all from India!! But at least my phone won't ring.

Enjoy your yard work. patrick is coming home today, house is a mess, Scotts stuff is still everywhere and he is buying a drum set.:scared1:

So I made some muddy buddies last night after coming home from Holy Thursday services. Always like to have something homemade when the kids come home from college.

have a great day.

I returned a little while ago from my appt with the neurosurgeon. Even though my EEG was abnormal, everything is A.O.K. He says that because of the brain surgery, my EEG will always be abnormal. So I guess abnormal is normal for me--Tell me something I don't know. I can start cutting back on the anti-seizure meds, too. I will see him again in June after having an MRI done, then I think he will release me to a military neurologist for follow ups. So I feel great! The only news that was remotely negative was that there is a fairly high recurrence of this type of brain tumor, but I'm not too worried, because it is almost always benign and I'll be under a neurologist's care for many years to come, so we'll be able to catch a new tumor early.

Also, we went to see the cherry blossoms in DC. They were beautiful, but I'm afraid they are almost done. Last week would have been better. The best part of the day was when Rob found someone's lost wallet. He looked through it and called many numbers on business cards and scraps of paper, until finally I think someone called this man saying we were looking for him. He called us when we were on our way back to Quantico (sitting in I-95 traffic, really--ugh), so when we pulled in at the base, we stopped by the post office and mailed the wallet back to him. He lives in Maryland, so he should get it tomorrow. Needless to say, he was relieved and we felt so good to be able to do something good for a total stranger and have our kids witness it. We were as blessed as he was.:thumbsup2

So I'm celebrating with pizza!:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

Y'all have a great night. I may check in later tonight.:)

Well if abnormal was normal, that'll work for me. Good news Paige. What a nice thing for Rob to do. So many people, wouldn't bother.

I know its only Good Friday but Olivia is going to open an Easter Egg. We never wait until Sunday.

Ellis is on his third egg:lmao:

We have been there when it maxes out not fun, lines for food, bathrooms it's like one big mob walking together,

Us too. Its mayhem.... They are due back Sunday so I guess I'll hear how it was. Hopefully they did most stuff the week before, I did warn her it would get major busy her 2nd week..... I hope she listened!:rolleyes1

I was up to the 30 minute free step, but I only did 10 minutes on that yesterday to start with. I might try 20 today:thumbsup2

Didn't do any yesterday, and just doing some now whilst were waiting for Rick's parent to turn up. Then it'll be put away until Sunday.

Good morning everyone. Our office is closed today, but we will still work a little bit. We have to get the building cleaned up a bit, and then we have a community Good Friday service to participate in. I have to speak for a segment/station. If it is outside, it is a walk, but there is rain in the forecast, so more than likely it will be in another church downtown.

Yesterday my friend who had cancer passed away, and his funeral is tomorrow. I will be driving to Fairfield county for the funeral, then to Westchester county, NY for the committal. He was 52 years old and leaves a wife and three daughters, 22, 15, and I believe 7 behind. I rejoice in the fact that he is pain free and with his Lord, but saddened at the loss of a friend. He planned his own funeral and requested that I be one of his pall bearers.

I will sooooooo be ready for our quick vacation next week. We are going to Oneonta, NY to Elaine's parents. All of you baseball fans might know, but Oneonta is very close to Cooperstown. I may scoot over and do some shopping in the stores over there. It is a really cool town.
Chris tell Elaine great job on her weight lost. :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2: Di
I will do that!!! She is happy! She has been going now 2 weeks and has lost 7.2 lbs all together.

looking forward to the raddison meet before the cruise.:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

I am looking forward to it as well. We will be a little late, but we will be there. Our flight gets into MCO at 4:45. We will check in and run to Grills, then come back for the meet.

Its grey here too at the minute but there is a glimmer of sunshine. The forecast for today is heavy showers!! Not quite getting it right.

Well done Paige - thats great news. What a good person you are for mailing back the wallet. Thats such a good example to your kids. They are fantastic kids anyway and now we know why:thumbsup2

Lovely to hear from you yesterday Lori, say hello to everyone. Olivia thought
your story from last week was so gross!!

It was gross!:headache::eek: Lots of hugs to you all.

Good morning peeps:goodvibes

Its miserable and grey outside... I guess our sunshine days are truly over:sad2:

Not sure what we're doing today, we've already been drawing monsters and animals, maybe a little shrink art or model building after brekkie:thumbsup2

Then its onto the dreaded maths:scared:

It's grey down here as well Karen

Before I forget and the IL's arrive...

Happy Easter everyone

Cooperstown is one of our stops on our trip to New England next month. We went 13 years ago and had a great time. I wanted to go to the Basketball Hall of Fame this summer with my parents while there but David Robinson, Michael Jordan, John Stockton and Jerry Sloan wont be put in until September. What a bummer. Remember David Robinson was a great Spur and Walt and I met Jerry Sloan in a club on the Riverwalk around 15 years ago. Diane

Edit by Walt....I got to talk with Jerry Sloan for two hours while his entourage danced with your girl friends...A highlight of my Life...Jerry Sloan was my basketball idol while I was growing up...

Also, we are staying in Oneonta to accumulate hotel points...What a small world..

Walt

We live about an hour from Springfield and drive past the Basketball Hall of Fame all the time on I-91. The first time Jay saw it, he said, "hey, we're not at Disney World." :lmao::rotfl2:
