Good Friday morning everyone!

I am enjoying a cuppa coffee and watching the full saga of starwars :thumbsup2 and doing laundry in between..lol :laundy:
That sounds like fun! I have always wanted to do that. Are you starting at Phantom Menace and going right throught to Return of the Jedi?

Yesterday my friend who had cancer passed away, and his funeral is tomorrow. I will be driving to Fairfield county for the funeral, then to Westchester county, NY for the committal. He was 52 years old and leaves a wife and three daughters, 22, 15, and I believe 7 behind. I rejoice in the fact that he is pain free and with his Lord, but saddened at the loss of a friend. He planned his own funeral and requested that I be one of his pall bearers.

Sorry to hear about that Chris :hug:

HI GUYS
Just got in from being outside all day My John Deere had a dead battery so I had to put it on a charger. Dumb should have charged it 2 weeks ago. Needless to say I had to rake all the pine needles and load them on my truck and take them to the town mulch pile. I did 2 loads between 9:30 this morning and 2:30 this afternoon. I just got through finishing a nice cold beer and now it's time to shower and shave.
Nancy just got home from school and has gone for a walk.

Dan

After a chilly start this morning, we made it up to 70* here this afternoon!!! :goodvibes

Hi Everyone! We had a lovely time with Kamy, Steve, and the kids. She said to tell all you MCers hello. I'll try to post a picture when I can.

Chris - I am sorry for the loss of your friend. I am glad you know where he is and that he is there.

Dan - Sounds like you were working hard today!!! Tell Nancy I said hi please.

Karen - I hope the break is going well!

Good morning everyone. Our office is closed today, but we will still work a little bit. We have to get the building cleaned up a bit, and then we have a community Good Friday service to participate in. I have to speak for a segment/station. If it is outside, it is a walk, but there is rain in the forecast, so more than likely it will be in another church downtown.

I will sooooooo be ready for our quick vacation next week. We are going to Oneonta, NY to Elaine's parents. All of you baseball fans might know, but Oneonta is very close to Cooperstown. I may scoot over and do some shopping in the stores over there. It is a really cool town.

I will do that!!! She is happy! She has been going now 2 weeks and has lost 7.2 lbs all together.

I am looking forward to it as well. We will be a little late, but we will be there. Our flight gets into MCO at 4:45. We will check in and run to Grills, then come back for the meet.

Chris, sorry to hear about your friend, where in Westchester? Liveed in Montrose as a teen ager.

Enjoy Cooperstone, we have been a few times when visiting Albany.

funny, but this doesnt look like robin is carrying anything!!!

thats the Raddison by the way.:thumbsup2

Wasn't she taking the picture? And remember - most likely she packed what's in those things!

Yes Walt and I are lifetime members too. It is a great program when you follow it. Dan wrote each week you have to weigh,he meant each month. I weigh in once a month. Diane

Oh my yes, once a month! Didn't go last Sat. so I'm planning to do it tomorrow.

I attend a WW Meeting every Thursday AM. It is fun and educational. It is a social gathering for me with all my friends. After weight watchers, we all go out to eat lunch. Each week some one chooses a place to go. Today we went to Olive Garden. I learn something every week. Someone always brings in a good recipe or good food find. Di

When I started back in March 2005 it was an at work group. I attended that even after I reached goal until this past fall when they couldn't get a group going. I've tried several different "big" meetings but they just don't have the same felling for me. I can't find a group that I really like and so I just go & weigh in once a month.

I agree our points calculator never seems to work while I am on any kind of vacation. I wish I would do better while gone. I start out good but !!

Still I will say Go Red Sox.

I am watching the kids tonite. My daughter has to work until 11. She is helping out a co-worker. He had a special meeting tonite.

Oh by the way, grandkids went in their outside pool today. They said their body went numb when they jumped in but they had lots of fun. They swam for around an hour. As soon as we got home they jumped in the hot shower. Diane

2 of my grandkids are going to Texas just outside Dallas next week for a week at their other grandmother's. Parents going too. Maybe they'll have a swim - it will probably feel quite warm to them after a winter in Maine! I will be glad when they get home!

I really think she will go back a quit, she didn't pay enough attention to do all this. So next week should be interesting. They are closed today for Good Friday- don't understand since they are all from India!! But at least my phone won't ring.

Enjoy your yard work. patrick is coming home today, house is a mess, Scotts stuff is still everywhere and he is buying a drum set.:scared1:

So I made some muddy buddies last night after coming home from Holy Thursday services. Always like to have something homemade when the kids come home from college.

have a great day.

What are muddy buddies?... Maybe the company will decide to keep you & let you do it from where you are since they don't have a suitable replacement! And give you a raise!

Jen, your diaper cake is very cool. What a neat gift to give someone:thumbsup2

And good luck with your son:hug:

Cooperstown is one of our stops on our trip to New England next month. We went 13 years ago and had a great time. I wanted to go to the Basketball Hall of Fame this summer with my parents while there but David Robinson, Michael Jordan, John Stockton and Jerry Sloan wont be put in until September. What a bummer. Remember David Robinson was a great Spur and Walt and I met Jerry Sloan in a club on the Riverwalk around 15 years ago. Diane

Edit by Walt....I got to talk with Jerry Sloan for two hours while his entourage danced with your girl friends...A highlight of my Life...Jerry Sloan was my basketball idol while I was growing up...
Also, we are staying in Oneonta to accumulate hotel points...What a small world..
Walt

And Nancy, the buttons you have made for the Halloween night are sooo cool, great job:)

There are so many talented people here.

Cheryl, did Rachel get off o.k.? I see from the radar websites I have that the flight looks to be on time, if not a little early. Was she nervous? How are you and Al doing?

I promised Karen some doggie pics....

Here is Stitch before....he's all shaggy
