Oh no we rapped $100 bills coz we thought they were lighter than the $50 ones......Maybe we'll just swap them for a Candy bar instead....(Y'all like my new all American accent Ladies?.....:rolleyes1

You can still give me my $100 bill Chris. ;)

Heck, you may as well not convert 2 of them since you'll owe me for our bet. :rotfl:

At least now the kids can roll their own suitcases in and out of the airport! It used to be I had to be creative in manuvering them from the car to check in, and then back to the car!

Gotta get the ones that stack or attach. :thumbsup2

We make DS take his own case too now. He sometimes helps out and takes one of the other ones as well. He is so use to traveling through airports it knows the routine and what to expect. Also know when to help us too.

We probably could fly with our stuff, but 24 or so bags of goodies sounds like a lot!

I know the original talk was ornaments or key chains or similar. Those would be nice and small and easy to pack.

Suz is the creative one, so I will leave it in her hands on what to do this year. I'll remind her that there is a size and weight issue to be concerned of this time.

That was my creativity! Lots of straps and stacking! I was usually pushing one, and pulling another, both stacked up.

We leave on Sunday at 12:30 and arrive back at Portland around 3:30.

Sounds like your flight is around the same time as Nancy's, Cheryl's and my flight on Sunday. We're on AT as well. We'll really have an after cruise meet going in the airport that day. :cool1: (or would it be more like :sad1: )

That's perfect - that's what we're hoping to get on Mon with JB. Wish they'd hurry up and open up Nov. Maybe we'll look at Air Tran for home - it's not quite so importnant if they change your time coming home, esp for us with no kids.
N
I don't care too much, but didn't want an early flight. The price, flight times, and convenience of no parking fees, or no lodging fees, made driving to Maine worth it.

AFEG will have to chime in here about all our luggage for the repo. His expression when he met us at LAX was priceless. :lmao:

Maybe we will be at adjacent gates. This is getting exciting. I can see a definitive timeline for cruise planning for us in the next few months.

-Get Passports in April
-Order MNSSHP tickets on 5/1
-Make Resort Reservations most likely POFQ
-Receive Passports
-Make final Payment
-Make Palo/Excursion reservations at 90 day mark
-Ride a wave of excitement and planning for the last 90 days!

Just figured it out. If there are 25 people playing, it would cost me $115 to do a "bill" gift.

1 x $50
1 x $20
1 x $10
2 x $5
5 x $2
15 x $1

Maybe I should put the other kind of bills in there, like one of my drink bills and the person who gets that has to buy me one. You all wouldn't know I put that in all 25 envelopes, would you? :lmao:

Sounds like a good idea to me...:thumbs up 2

Dan might be carrying a large handbag too!!!!:rotfl:

Would that be Man-bag or Fanny pack?....:rolleyes1

Your breaking up are you in a tunnel Sir?.....:rotfl2:

It was like a scene out of Schindler's list...

5x trunks
3x Cases
6x Carry ons
1x Electrical

The Driver of the mini van sat half an hour waiting for the "Other" family to come out of the terminal....:scared1::rotfl2::scared1:

Paige many thanks love....

Were taking my Dad tomorrow night to what you guys would call the "Race Track" so that he never misses another Race card there (he ain't missed many there in the last 65 years),when i told Rosie she :rotfl2: and then said "Can we do that?"....Ryan pipes in with "What they goner do,Ban him?".....Kids don't you just lov'em.....:lmao:

That's funny what Ryan said!! My dad liked the track too. I used to go with him for the buffet when I was a kid and he let me pick one horse for each race and I picked them because I liked their names ;)

I should have a decent two weeks at work starting today. The boss's dd is in Destin for two weeks! Whoo hoooo!! No stress, no pressure and my eyes will actually fall into their normal place rather than up around my forehead all day. :rolleyes1 It will be sooooo relaxed around here.

I feel like I'm on a little vacation myself when she's gone. :thumbsup2

Wooohooo good news Nancy!! Enjoy your "holiday" :goodvibes:thumbsup2

DISS tag report card say's "Must try harder".....:sad2:

Am TOLD we are yes dear were in....:rolleyes1

I have added you and Christian to the list :cool1:

OK Well it's off to my doctors for him to tell me how my usual 3 month check of my blood sugar is and my cholesterol.
For the past two years my blood sugar has been normal. There was only once it was a little high and ever since it has been normal.
My cholesterol has been normal or below since 2002 when I started taking a statin.
Today i'm going to suggest that maybe we do this once a year when I get my physical.
Also have to go get my drivers license renewed
Everybody have a great day

Dan

Sounds like a busy day, good luck! :goodvibes

We're off in an hour for Kira's allergy tests :scared: Not looking forward to that, she's not going to be happy with me! :sad2:

No posts from Karen this morning :confused3 She must be having fun with Ellis :goodvibes

Samantha was not happy yesterday afternoon. She had her annual physical and had to get a Chicken Pox booster and get her finger pricked. She was not happy about that! All we heard all night was, "my arm hurts, my arm itches."

They have there own "wing" at MCO it looks like. Terminal B, Airside 4, in the 90's gate area. Maybe next to each other, but for sure in the same area of the airport. Based on when we're getting our rental car after the cruise, we will be in the terminal early so that we don't go over the 24 hour period on the car.

I'll have to see how much Suz is planning on spending on the tag gifts this time.

Wouldn't it be fun if I just made up 20 (or however many people are playing) blank envelops and stuff different bills in there? Most would have $1, a few would have $5, a couple with $20 and one with $50. Then, I wouldn't know what I was giving and we'd have to see who the lucky people were that got them.

People who got my gift early in the week and only got the $1 would be searching out who I was giving to next and go steal their envelope and replace it with the one they got. :rotfl2:

Hilarious!

I was just wondering how many were playing on this trip. So that I could make up a budget

Suz already said we're paying $15 each way for one checked bag. There is no way we can get around that. Not sure if we'll have 2 checked or not on the way home. Luckily we're flying Air Tran and they have large overhead bins, so you can get away with 3 - 21" carry-ons for the 3 of us, plus Suz' "large" handbag and my "briefcase/computer bag". I believe DS is allowed a "personal" bag as well.

I'm thinking that I'll just be chucking clothing overboard will be cheaper than paying that 2nd bag fee!

It wasn't that bad. Only 8 or 9 bags, and yes, one was the electronics bag. :rolleyes1

Hey, it was 2 1/2 weeks of vacation.
