Almost need to do a new role call for the cruise.

Might not be a bad idea when we get into the "planning" stages (i.e. 90 or 75 days).

Is there anyone active on the thread now that is not categorized properly in Post 1? :confused3

I am looking forward to being on here at the 90 day mark :cool1:

Hmmm, who is this Chirs guy??? :confused3 :lmao:

" A Fat English Gent = Chirs and Hazel and their 3 kids. England."

I've been wanting to see this movie since it first came out on xmas day but haven't had the chance yet. Crap, if you cried, that means I am gonna be a blubbering idiot :scared::rotfl2:

Did you read the book Cass? I did and let's just say the ending is different in the movie. I actually heard people sobbing during the movie. We went on Christmas day. :)

It will change from sleet to all snow around 1 p.m. it said.

The only yard work I did was put the pre-emergent fertilizer down last weekend before the snow. Figured the melting would "water" it in perfectly.

With the field behind the house, we have such problems with dandelions in the spring time. Luckily with the corn last year, they weeds didn't have a chance to get any of the sunlight to grow.

I suppose next year that field will be new homes, huh? :sad1:

I heard he has to change his name to "A REALLY Fat English Gent". :lmao:

I'm so winning our bet.

I was a little confused too. Do you think he is that HOT sweet man that cruised with us in 07? :confused3;)

No, I didn't read the book. Was it better than the movie, like usual? I'm guessing since you are watching it for the third time, you liked the movie? :rolleyes1

I dunno....I have a feeling that the fat gent may give you a run for your money ;)

Hey Jeff, is Suz around? I'd like to forward that letter to the wedding photographer to her to see what she thinks. K&J will be sending it out registered mail on Wednesday.

I was crying so hard my husband had to turn up the volume. I told him I was so glad we did not go see it in the theater. I had wanted to - having read the book, I really wanted to see it. Oh my goodness - they'd have kicked me out.

Not sure. They did stake the corners of all the lots in our subdivision last summer, but the one across the street still has lots available. They aren't selling at this time. My fear is that they will lower the standards for the houses just to get it developed and sold. Luckily it is one of the better developers that bought it. Plus, I think that subdivision a little further to the west of us will make sure the quality of housing that is put in there is up to the rest of the surrounding area.

The farmer did die about 2 years ago.

I'm hoping for a couple more summers. Not sure if the housing market will turn around that quickly.

Just hope they "stagger" the houses so we don't have anyone right behind us when they do develop it.

The book is way better because of the ending. Not much was changed otherwise. I even remember just sitting there after the movie was over and hoping they would continue it a little longer. You know, how they let you believe it's over and then they run some more footage. I told Chuck to sit tight because it's not over yet....but it was. :sad1:

She's downstairs. If you email it to her, she is planning on going into the office for a little while tomorrow.

I had to muffle my sobbing too. :rotfl: When we walked out of the theater there was another line of folks waiting to get in. One lady started crying when she saw the rest of us. :rotfl2:

There were a lot of lab owners there that day. The theater had a little fund raiser for a Children's theater group before the show and asked how many guests had labs. More than half of the theater raised their hands.

Well, then I am sure glad I didn't go see it in the theatre then!!!

I don't have her email address from work here. Can I just send it to you?

I loved the movie Cass. Not that the book ended differently, it just continued on in a positive way. The movie did not.
