Stay warm Cheryl. I can't believe snow. Here I am complaining because I am alittle chilly. All I need to do is dress properly and I would be fine. Diane

The good thing about snow at this time of the year is at least it usually melts quickly! Did I really just say there is a good thing about snow

I'm off to get some laundry done and I'm not sure if we'll be heading to the rental property to do more painting and work. I'm almost done with the painting, just have the kitchen and 2 closets left to go!

Have a good Sunday everyone :goodvibes

will do...but you're still not getting more than a strawberry smoothie.:lmao:

thats my story and i'm sticking to it.:rotfl2:

Stingy!!!...LOL :lmao:

thanks. poor brady didnt feel well today.:grouphug: ear trouble.

he may have to get those tubes in his ears. Addison had them put in when she kept getting ear aches.:cutie:

I had tubes in my ears when I was 5.. tonsils out and tubes put in... I was 5.. but I remember everything.. 5 days alone in the hospital.. parents had to work :sad2:

He did good:thumbsup2...we dont know if he passed until later, but I think he did enough to pass.:thumbsup2 We didnt get out of there though til 6pm:sad2:..we got there at 2pm:rolleyes:... four hours of waiting on a hard wooden chair killed my back:headache:

:rotfl:I'll let you know when we get round to painting it... Neil finished the guest bedroom, but we didnt even get round to starting ours yet.:rolleyes1

I will cross my fingers for him but I am sure he did well.. :goodvibes

as for renos... hehehe I am still jealous!!..lol :thumbsup2
WELL, GOOD MORNING PEEPS!:goodvibes

Nice lot to read today:thumbsup2 ... no detentions necessary;)

I have a funny story....

We got woken up this mornig at 5am by the sound of someones house alarm going off:mad:....

We looked outside and checked our friends on the corner (they went to Florida yesterday so their house is empty)... it was all secure. Got back into bed and tried to ignore it.... impossible.

After about 5 minutes Neil went downstairs to make a cuppa and normally our house alarm sensor catches you in the hallway and starts beeping. It didnt go off telling us to disarm like it normally does:confused3... wierd?:confused3

Anyway, to cut a long story short, ........it was our alarm that was going off outside:lmao:

Ellis had accidently turned off the mains power to the alarm yesterday and the battery backup cell only lasts 12 hours, at 5am the battery was dead so the house alarm automatically went off outside but not inside

There we were cursing the neighbours and it was us all alongrotfl2:

Oops! - sorry neighbours

:lmao::rotfl:

Oops!:flower3: - sorry neighbours:rolleyes1

ever think maybe you had an outside intruder? perhaps a certain redhead that neil was sneaking out to see for a little smoocher?:lmao::rotfl2:

How cute!

Hey is Addison liking her brother yet?
Does she still cry when he cries?:rotfl:

oh she loves him.
sometimes too much. she's always got to be hugging and kissing him.
you have to remind her to "be gentile".
that poor kid takes a beating from his sis.:lmao:
wont be long and he'll be able to defend himself.:cool2:

So last night it snowed a foot! :scared1:
knock knock... mother nature... it's FREAKING SPRING!!!!! :headache:

Hey I was realizing recently that whenever you said cuppa, I thought you meant coffee but read somewhere on the www that that means tea. Is that true?
And does anyone in England drink coffee? Or are you mostly tea drinkers there?:surfweb:

I only drink tea, but most people drink both coffee and tea. A "cuppa" usually refers to tea not coffee, just short for "cup of" :thumbsup2

I drink a lot of different types... the normal "english breakfast" tea, then fruit teas, herbal teas such as camomile tea etc etc

We dont have a constant pot of coffee warming - do most Americans do that or is that just on tv shows:confused3 We also use "instant" coffee (just add water type) rather than the proper ground coffee a lot too, although we do use the other sort sometimes, but its more hassle, especially if only Neil is drinking it.:rolleyes1

Ok, thats my English lesson over for the day:teacher:

Today is actually quite warm and sunny here! Ellis is out on the Close playing on his tri-ike, go kart and scooter etc.

Cant believe the weekend is almost over:eek:...where the heck did it go:confused3... cant believe its Monday tomorrow:scared:...and Tuesday will be even worse... chiropractor day:scared1:..poke me, prod me, make me hurt, then make me pay you bundles of cash day:sad2:

I've found some wierd and wonderful "stuff" in a small pot from China...its a muscle ache type of ointment... stinks like crazy (Neil wont come near me... so it actually has 2 uses!;)):lmao:, but it seems to be doing the trick:thumbsup2

I cant wear it at school though .... the smell would put the kids off their dinner:rotfl2:..... actually, not a bad idea if its chocolate pudding day;)... more left for us when they've gone:rolleyes1:thumbsup2

I had to cut back the whole of my one passion flower today:sad2:

Meant to be hardy, but its not:sad2:

It had about 20 foot of growth on it and had covered the back fence lovely:rolleyes:, now back to staring at brown fence:rolleyes:

I have planted 50 passion flower seeds though last week, and so far I have 2 teeny tiny seeds germinated:yay: They are the hardy variety so in about 2 years I'll have passion flowers everywhere:rotfl:

Have you all disappeared?:confused3

Does that chinese stuff smell so bad that you can smell me through the p.c.?:confused3

I made a list today of 40 things to do in the Easter holidays so hopefully Ellis wont be too bored. We have ages off here for Easter - 3 weeks almost:rolleyes:

Its too cold most days to spend too long outside so its hard to occupy him without letting him sit glued to his playstation, ds or wii:rolleyes:

I am taking him into the big park by us though for the day, picnic, tennis raquets, football, etc plus my camera (I thought he might like to start taking piccies properly in the woods and by the lake etc and start his own album:thumbsup2.) We can also collect leaves, cones etc and make a collage picture. Hopefully the cows, squirrels and rabbits etc will be nearby so he can photograph them too. Then we'll finish off with an icecream before going home:thumbsup2.

I've also bought him 2 thick maths books to work through:scared: - I'm not going to be popular when I show him those:rotfl:
