The other bad thing that happened to me is I was served court papers yesterday. But we know what we have to do each week, so that we can make it. I am sorry this was such a long post..Just venting my mind. Thank you all.

Sorry to hear this Chris:hug: Vent away.. thats what we're here for:grouphug:

We too are struggling to find the money for the cruise, but we're determined to get it together so we dont have to cancel.

We're only having the one holiday this year (the cruise), normally we'd be in Europe for 2 weeks in summer then a few weekends away also, but not this year:sad2:

I'm sure you'll find a way:hug:... keep your spirits up:goodvibes

I've just booked a chiropractors appointment for next Tuesday:scared:

I've never been before. I dont like people touching me:scared:

Plus its costing a small fortune and I'll need at least $200 before I get treated just for the consultation etc:rolleyes:

Hey everyone...hope all is well this evening. Dinner is done, and things are settling down here.

In between DISing today, I managed to get some productive yardwork done. I picked up some dropped twigs off trees from winter, and I got rid of a bush/weed that has been driving me nuts since I moved here 4 years ago. The problem is, every time I go near it in summer I get poison ivy. Today I removed it and most of the root system. If I get poison ivy, it will be worth every portion of the rash to get rid of it!:lmao::woohoo:

Good morning everybody

Chris I think it will be maybe another week before I can start doing any yard work. We still have patches of snow in the yard. Between today and maybe by the weekend with the rain I might be able to start next week.
I won't be able to use my John Deer in the yard until it dries up a bit.
Everybody have a great day.

Dan

Good morning everyone...

I had a reply ready to post a half hour ago, but for some reason I lost wireless! :scared: It was a pretty long post too! I will try to remember bascially what I said.

firefighter chris, sorry to hear about that surprise bill. Glad you were able to figure it out. Venting is good, sometimes it is good to get it all out.

Karen, sorry to hear about your back. I hope you are feeling better. I don't like strangers touching me all over, so I feel at least that part of your pain. Not the back though. Feel better soon! :flower3:

Dan: Yeah my Toro definitely needs to be serviced, but I wanted to take advantage of the good day yesterday to get some things done. I think I will call today and set up a service call to have the blades done, new battery, filter and oil change. I think they call it a spring tune up.

Good to know, thanks Kathy :thumbsup2

Thanks Joanne, we appreciate it but the objective was to try to have the whole group together. We were hoping to take over one part of the restaurant as a lot of us found that little room too hot and stuffy :scared:

I said that on the last cruise and never made it once to the gym on the ship :rolleyes1 I am hoping this cruise to at least get up and try to walk a few laps on deck 4 if I can't make it to the gym ;)

Oh I don't think they do that, but I will give it a try when we get closer. How many adults are we?

I am a deck 10 walker, so you are welcome to join me.

I'm gonna be taking a little break from the DIS, if anyone needs any updates to the BOB site, please email me, my email is on the BOB website :thumbsup2 :wave2:

Hope all is well. See you soon.

Minds out of the gutter please! :lmao:

Obviously, neither of you have worked in an office with cubicles. That is the 'prairie-dogging' to which I was referring:

Ewe I never thought of that............

Thats something I don't have to worry about. Our middle son who is one of our two firefighters does outboard and small engin repaire work on his off days at the FD .
He is a certified advanced outboard Tech but can repair anything with an engine. So needless to say Chris my equiptment is well taken care of:rotfl:.

Good morning y'all.

To all who had to cancel--sorry you'll have to miss the cruise.

Nice to see you popping in, Bendy Girl!:surfweb:

Thats good to have! :thumbsup2 I have changed plugs, blades, filters, and oil on mowers, but the tractor is a little more complex. I have changed blades on the tractor when I have bent them pretty good. Thats easy to do, but sometimes hard to find the right replacements! Usually I take the last pair in Home Depot.

Wow, quiet night on the thread this evening. :rolleyes1

How about a question for the evening????

What feature do you hope is on the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy that is not on the Magic/Wonder?

How about being able of view your account on your room TV. Definitely photopass, and photo stateroom cards.

I realized I didn't answer my own question. :lmao:

I would have to say a more "grown up" waterslide and/or other water park features. Splash Area, Basketball, volleyball, etc would be fun.

What a good idea

That would be a nice feature. I like being at hotels where you can check your account total, and even check out on your room tv. On the cruise I was excited to get the bridge channel. Our first cruise on RCCL just had the bridge cam, no report or GPS on the stateroom tv. I enjoy seeing where I am. I like doing that on airplanes too!

Well, am off for a couple of hours. I am heading to the gym and actually meeting with a personal trainer today for my "no obligation" assesment. Then I am off to the Food Bank to pick up some food for the Pantry. On Tuesday we served 36 families in one day. When I arrived here 4 years ago we were doing 20 families a month. These truly are tough times and we are seeing it in social services.
