Still, depending on the "season", what is the cost of a Value at the time. They are usually under $100 and a lot of time much less than that.

Never stayed in one, so I can't comment on them though.
The values are nice. The rooms are on the small side, but it is a great way to get on the property without paying a fortune. I really would like to try a moderate sometime to see the difference. Elaine is sometimes hard to convince!

Thanks for posting that news about the new ships Cass. Now I have to work on convincing Elaine for a cruise in 2011.

My convincing of Suz would be to get her to stay in a Value. :sad2: She is a Moderate girl. No need for a Deluxe though, so that is a good thing.

You are a PO-R family right? I would like to stay there sometime soon. Of all of the moderates, that one appeals to me the most.

Not sure what I had done but I was getting smoochers!:lovestruc

sometimes we guys give our chics smoochers for no apparent reason.

happy anniversary guys!!

loved all the pics

I think only the Deluxe's have queens. I have tried selling Elaine on a deluxe for that very reason. I can be bad!

We usually want a queen bed too - hmmm....

Of course I'd love another stay at the Contemporary, or to stay at the Poly but the budget has more to say about that than I do!

We're planning WDW in 2011, so no new cruise ship for us.... but we're hoping to take a week or so and do all the parks, etc.

I really like it there. We stayed at PO-FQ on our honeymoon and 4 times after that. Suz' really likes it there. I much prefer PO-R (I think we've stayed there about 3 or 4 times).

We've stayed at Coronado twice too. First time she wasn't too thrilled about it, but the second time I got a better room location. If you don't need the main building for anything, it isn't a bad resort.

We will be looking at Caribbean Beach in October before the cruise. Haven't tried that one yet, but since we'll have a car and DS likes the "quiet" pools (which they have several), we thought we'd give it a try. It looks like a really nice resort.

We'll be at PO-R afterwards though.

hey candyman!!:cool2:
sorry i missed ya. doing well here.:thumbsup2
you taking care of my Indians in AZ this spring training??

hey dawg, you bet we are taking care off them, I just wish they were closer so I could catch a game or two.popcorn::

We were thinking of WDW in either 2010 or 2011. I was leaning more towards 2010, and I think Elaine was as well. She mentioned wanting to go with friends of ours.

I agree with you. The budget definitely dictates. I sometimes think too big, although I would make some serious sacrifices if it meant fulfilling a childhood dream of mine to stay at the Contemporary.

We may upgrade post cruise. My mom told me she got a coupon in the mail from Disney yesterday about 40% off lodging on property. She said 10/31 was listed on it. If they can book us 2 rooms with a signficantly reduced rate, we may even splurge on a Deluxe...ie Contemporary for the one night. I am not overly optimistic though.

We'll be on the new one in 2011. Probably skip 2010 now, move that one to 2011 and look into a trip to England now in 2010. :rolleyes1 (It will probably be less than this years cruise)

I hear August is perfect there! Just got off Skype with Sean and Cath and was discussing our trip there in 2010. It would be funny if we had a Dis Meet over there!

Hi Scott, and Carrie:wave2:

Got a picture for you and Janice, (and some funny guys in the middle)

Hey Rose, How you doing? Funny you put that pic up, Carrie just got a new do this last weekend and it looks fantastic.
