LOL always the dawg..lol

Hmm, you know Jeff, you brought up a very good point about the cruise possibly being diverted

We should all prepare back-up plans for the Western just in case we do get diverted. When we cruised in 2005 and got diverted, I was so lost, I had no idea what to do because we planned on the Western itinerary not the Eastern! :scared:

This time I am doing some research on what we would do if we make it to the Western just in case :thumbsup2

Yep, I got plans for an emergency Western... Stay on the ship! I love those days when you have the ship to yourself.

Mine's simple:

Key West - Stay on ship unless we need something from the store for the room (although I'm sure Suz will want Key Lime pie).

Grand Cayman - cab up to Public Beach on Seven Mile Beach (I think Karen will agree and come along on that one :thumbsup2 )

Cozumel - if it is not windier than heck like last time, probably Chakanaab (sp?)

We will NOT do any DCL excursions if it is a Western.

Those that went on the Pirate cruise on GC seemed to have a great time. I might be pursuaded to do that but afterward back on the boat!

That Cozumel day was a bear! Chakanaab sounds fun.

Steve, you look just like a guy that I work with at my office. :lmao:

You don't have an alias name of Curt, do you?

Matthew

:rotfl: Not me. Actually as I looked at that pic, I was thinking that I looked a bit like that dude from CSI

Cass, I'm loving the scrapbooks! They are all fantastic. I'll have to show them to Laura. You have a great talent!

I am so keyed up today about this cruise. I booked the REAS package for Rob and me. We have never been away from our kids for a vacation, so I am treating this as a second honeymoon--our first honeymoon was cut short, too. So all the more reason for romance, right?:thumbsup2

When I see the counters in the single digits and see that we are only a hair away from 6mos I get pretty jazzed too!

Ok...I have done 17 so far but I think you guys have seen the first 8 of these already....so, sorry if these are repeats...

Cass, I like them all. But the "Our Room" page really stands out for some reason. Very classy. Great job! :thumbsup2

You know Steve, you've always reminded me of someone too...but I still haven't been able to think of who....:scratchin

And thanks for the compliment :goodvibes

Really? Hahah, that is funny because I ended up redoing that page because I didn't like it and then I did that one I posted and I still didn't like it but I didn't want to redo again

Hi All....

Just wanted to pop in and say "Hi" this morning.

Yesterday was just a bad day from the moment I woke up until I went to bed. Won't go into details, but today is a new day, with a new start. :)

Without my laptop, I probably won't be online as much, at least not until it is fixed (if that is possible) or I get a new one. Hazel and I are now sharing the desktop in the livingroom for now.

Have a good day all..........:wave2:

Oh yeah, I was going to post Hazel's Senior Yearbook pic in all the madness the other night but didn't get to it. Here is it now.

Not sure if my last post showed up as I can't see it when I bring the thread back up. The craziness continues I guess.........:rotfl:

OK, there it is now, and a FO to boot!!! :lmao:

Wow, Cass! :worship: You are so talented! Your layouts are beautiful! Thanks for sharing!

Long time no hear....I know. I frequently lurk, but I cannot keep up with you guys! popcorn::

Our planning is coming right along. We've got our Treehouse booked for the pre-stay, our airfare is booked (although we didn't get the great Jet Blue deal! Still, 1/2 the price it was last year is good with me! ). Got my FE a couple of weeks ago and I'm just trying to get in creative mode for my give-aways!

I hope everyone has a great week ahead!

Hiya Sheri  I was just asking about you this weekend. Nice to see you stopping in. Stop by more often. :goodvibes

I was just reading back on thread #19 (I can't keep up), and saw this post by Nancy:

Still listening to that station Mike. Mine and Chuck's wedding song is on right now. Can't help falling in love by Elvis.

That was our wedding song, too, Nancy. Great romatics think alike, eh, sistah?:lovestruc

Everytime I hear that song I get all goosebumply. :cutie:

Right Sistah! :thumbsup2

Hope this day goes better for you Andy. Remember, just a couple more days and off to relax in Florida. :dance3: BTW...cute pic Hazel! :cutie:

Question of the Day:

What is your favorite port? New Cruisers: Which port are you most looking forward to?

My answer: Grand Cayman!!

Just a cool rainy day here in Maine. At least its not snowing. Nancy will be working 4 days this week. They are having the state MEA testing all week so she was asked to come in and help.
OH BOY extra $$$ for cruise:rotfl: :rotfl: .
So you know what old Dan will be doing all week.
Andy I hope you get the computor fixed. Im glad we are back. When you arn't on we are lost.
Everybodyhave a great day.
Dan

Good morning everyone. Today I have an all day seminar. It will basically being each department at our headquarters telling us to do this, don't do this, these policies are changing, etc. I will be reading stuff all day on my BlackBerry to pass the time.

Cass, those are great layouts! I am very ignorant on scrapbooking, but those look very well done. With that, its possible for a few pictures to tell the story for an entire day.

Good to hear you are doing better today. We all have days like this. Right now, Elaine and I are sharing a computer which is why I don't get on at night too much. I can't wait until my work laptop gets fixed! Come on IT guys, its just a DVD drive replacement, memory upgrade and software upgrades!!!!

Question of the Day:

What is your favorite port? New Cruisers: Which port are you most looking forward to?

My answer: Grand Cayman!!
I would have to say Castaway Cay. That was a most enjoyable day for us last cruise. Although, as far as "regular" ports, Grand Cayman has been my favorite so far. However, I am looking forward to St. John and Trunk Bay on the Eastern side. :thumbsup2

Chris did you get in touch wit your Mom and Dad ref the Jet Blue flights out of Portland?

Dan

Favorite port is Castaway Cay without a doubt!!! :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

Lina went to the massge therapy school meeting last night and got signed up for the next class that will be starting. The only problem I see at this moment, and I'm holding my breath on this one, her graduation could possibly take place the last week of "October 2009"........

OK, just had a hot bowl of oatmeal, now it's time to get back on the road. I have a ton of curb meters to read today that I couldn't get done last week because of all the sn*w we had.

Question of the Day:

My answer: Grand Cayman!!

so far it has been Grand Cayman. that is where I intend to retire too......:cloud9:

Does Castaway Cay count? That's my fave......Grand Cayman is second.:thumbsup2

Of course it counts Sistah! Even Port Canaveral counts. :goodvibes

Woohoo!   I was looking at flights and decided to check the school calendar for the Fall. It turns out that Monday, November 2nd and Tuesday November 3rd are Teacher In Service Work Days. NO SCHOOL!!! :woohoo:

Our after cruise WDW trip just went from one day to three!!! :yay: :yay: :yay:

Matthew

FAVORITE PORT - Castaway Cay (Of course, I've only been there and Nassau so it wasn't much of a contest.)

Grand Cayman - cab up to Public Beach on Seven Mile Beach (I think Karen will agree and come along on that one :thumbsup2 )

I LOVED that beach:cloud9: ... I could have stayed there forever. That taxi came too soon to take me away

:lmao:

Not commenting on THAT again. :rotfl2:

:lmao: :lmao: :thumbsup2

I got a phone call this morning from one of our salesmen and he cleaned out his desk, left a one line letter of resignation and has opened his own business. I don't think it'll be long until the rest follow suit. I sure hope one of them takes me along.

Fingers crossed Nancy:thumbsup2
