Good luck Andy.

That's always refreshing when the cars come back from inspection. Maine is pretty strict too!

In Connecticut, the only inspection we have is emissions (every 2 years), but that process is a mess. Our car is a 2005 and hasn't been inspected since new. I contacted our finance department to make sure I wasn't missing anything and was told that it is due for emission on 9/30/2009. When I questioned it saying that it would have been 4 years since the car was manufactured, they said, "I know, the state doesn't know what they are doing!"

We have the emissions checked very year. They stick the prob down into the fill pipe then connect the computer and it tells you everything.
Mine was doing the job. It is $18.00 to get a car or truck inspected in Maine.

So true!!! :thumbsup2:goodvibes:thumbsup2:goodvibes:thumbsup2

Hazel was away this past weekend at her annual Ladies Retreat in Lancaster County, PA and Lina went with Bryan and his parents this past weekend to their vacation home at Lake Ariel, PA in the Pocono Mountains.

The house was way too quiet, almost spooky at times. I was sooooooooo glad to see both of them arrive home last evening!!! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

This left me with a lot of time to reflect and decide if I wanted to have this surgery now, or later. My decision was made at lunchtime today to have the surgery ASAP.

Having Chinese Food tonight for dinner, should be here any minute!!! :thumbsup2

Good Morning everybody.
I wish the weather would improve. It's a very damp day rain showers and very chilly.
We have our Grand daughter with us today. Mom and Dad brought her over last night. So today she will be busy with us. Nancy is taking her to the library this morning. She loves reading. For a girl six she is a very good reader.
I just got back from the garage from having my truck inspected. It's all set for another year. I bought it in 2005 right after I retired with 32000 miles. It's a 2004 Ford Ranger XLT. It only has 42000 now. It will last for a few more years.
Everybody have a great day

Dan

Always good to raise a reader! Glad she enjoys it so much!

$25 here, Dan - unless you find a deal going for $20. Same process though.

Hi y'all. Well, I see have too many posts to read, so I am just jumping in to say hi. It's been a little busy around here, so I haven't had time to DIS much, but I hope you are all well and have a great week! I'm off to Emily's softball game. (I have to go extra early with her since I am still not driving.:headache:)

What position does she play? Alex plays center field and loves it. We go straight from basketball to softball.
