We are do sitting this week, So I slept next door on the couch... I saw 2 am, 3 am, 4 am... I am going to be asleep at my desk by noon.

Good morning everyone. I hope all is well wherever you may be this morning. Last night while on this thread for a bit, I read the thread about the Wonder being moved to Los Angeles in 1st Qtr of 2011. It sounds like Disney Dream will be taking the Wonder's spot in the Caribbean doing 3/4 day cruises. The Magic will continue doing 7 day cruises at least until the Fantasy comes online in early 2012.

Due to this, I am keeping all options open for 2011. If we can score good airfare, maybe we will do a 7 day Pacific cruise on the Wonder, if that is what she ends up doing. We may just have an extended WDW vacation as well. We have about 18 months to figure it all out.

Elaine and I were also talking about getting a wireless internet package. She wants to be able to surf the net while she is in the room with the kids at night as they fall asleep. Does Wireless work in the rooms and if so, what does it cost??? We will also be able to charge all of our iPods at once with the computer and store pictures and video on it. If we get it as well, I will be doing a live report too!

If you have a wireless ready laptop, you can use your personal computer to access the internet while onboard both the Disney Wonder and Disney Magic. You will find several "hot spots" throughout the ship, including most staterooms.

Printing is not available for wireless connections

$55 USD for 100 minute plan ($0.55 per minute)
$100 USD for 250 minute plan ($0.40 per minute)
$150 USD for 500 minute plan ($0.30 per minute)

I had no trouble connecting online from our cat 12 cabin on deck 2 back in Spetember 2008 with my laptop.

Thanks for sharing that Andy. Its a little more pricey then I would like, and there is no unlimited plan. Is it possible to load a page, then disconnect while reading it, then re-connect? I know that seems cheap, but I would save every minute I could!

Another question that is sort of IT related. What about smartphones? When I last cruised there was no cell service on board, but I believe there is now. Not that I want that, but I could use my browser on my phone. I'll head over and check the FAQ.

I just looked at that, and as soon as we put to sea the BlackBerry will be going in the safe!!! As far as laptop, I think we are still up in the air on that. She doesn't think she will use too much, so we may still do that.

You are such good neighbors! Dan has to dog sit our son's 2 dogs when they go to Texas in April. We don't have to stay there though - but it does mean about 3 trips a day, roughly 8 miles round trip, to let them out. Heck maybe we ought to just stay there! No, I like my little house. Maybe the other boys will take some of the turns for us.

Our dog sitter passed away in September. Jasmine hasn't been boarded since she was a little pup. I don't know how she would do. I am hoping she can stay with our neighbors or something while we go on vacation in July and then on the cruise in October.

Yes, it does work Chris. I used it on our trip last year. It was quite a good connection. I'll try and find out later how much it was.

Yeah and I was really hoping for a reasonably priced unlimited plan. Oh well, most likely we won't get the package, but I am still planning on taking the computer so that we can save pictures and charge all of the iPods.

This morning not so good, we woke up to an ice storm with snow on top. School is actually delayed 2 hrs. Now July is another story, beautiful warm weather, oh how I wish for that now.
