Good Morning everybody.
I wish the weather would improve. It's a very damp day rain showers and very chilly.
We have our Grand daughter with us today. Mom and Dad brought her over last night. So today she will be busy with us. Nancy is taking her to the library this morning. She loves reading. For a girl six she is a very good reader.
I just got back from the garage from having my truck inspected. It's all set for another year. I bought it in 2005 right after I retired with 32000 miles. It's a 2004 Ford Ranger XLT. It only has 42000 now. It will last for a few more years.
Everybody have a great day

Dan

Hey all,
Just want to pop in here and yet again ask for pixie dust and crossed fingers (prayers always help too)
Sean has his oral board interview tomorrow for Sgt. he's a nervous wreck but I know he'll be ok.

Fingers crossed, pixie dust thrown, prayers said for Sean on his Sgt's interview. Diane

Hi y'all. Well, I see have too many posts to read, so I am just jumping in to say hi. It's been a little busy around here, so I haven't had time to DIS much, but I hope you are all well and have a great week! I'm off to Emily's softball game. (I have to go extra early with her since I am still not driving.:headache:)

Thats always refreshing when the cars come back from inspection. Maine is pretty strict too!

In Connecticut, the only inspection we have is emissions (every 2 years), but that process is a mess. Our car is a 2005 and hasn't been inspected since new. I contacted our finance department to make sure I wasn't missing anything and was told that it is due for emission on 9/30/2009. When I questioned it saying that it would have been 4 years since the car was manufactured, they said, "I know, the state doesn't know what they are doing!"

Great Pictures! Your grandchildren are sooooo cute!!! Takes after Robin:rotfl2::lmao:

Dunnakin (sp?) and thank you for thinking of them.

you are very welcome. As I have said before my dad is a retired chief of police and MP so I have a special place in my heart for police offiers and their families. Especially the kids. It is not easy being a police officers child. I could never get away with anything.:lmao:

I like coffee from a Valero gas station near my house. I treat myself every once in awhile. I use to get it more often but I am trying to budget. I usually make it at home. You are right never as good. I also get a Dunkin Donuts coffee in Massachusetts when I visit. Along with a chocolate donut. Bad Me. I treat myself to a Starbucks every once in awhile. mostly vacations. I have a Starbucks gift card. I really budget with it so it last a long time. I go over my friends Joanne's for ice coffee every afternoon. I call her coffee Joanne Bucks. Yummy!!!!!!
Diane

Guess we think alike Diane:hug:
