Wow, what a day. Just after I finished my Federal 1040 form, Elaine came in and said she had to drive to Albany, NY to get her niece. Her other niece is in the hospital and her parents had things going on and couldn't juggle both the 3 year old, and making trips to the hospital with the 12 year old. They asked us to take the 3 year old for a few days. They have custody of both of them.

Since I had the big part done, I told her I would go with her. It would be nice to be in the car with my wife for a few hours after all.

We got home around 3:40 just in time for me to grab the full size van and take a group of young adults to a Retreat in Massachusetts. I drove about 500 miles today and am finally home. :cool1:

The good news is, while heading into the mall where we ate lunch in Albany, I got a call from the New York Yankees telling me they finally got to my plan and seniority. I was on :cloud9: the rest of the day. I now have to sell the tickets I bought last week as I do have multiple tickets for some of the same games. I have an 11 game season ticket plan. I would love to have more, but I live 130 miles away and getting to 7 or 8 games is good enough for me.

Thanks, I am sure it will be. It's just a kind of bizarre disorder. Her father had a seminar all weekend, and her mom stays by the kids bedside so it was hard for the little one to stay home. Luckily it isn't too far to help each other out when we get in a pinch.

Where is Karen this morning?

:rotfl:I'm here now Cath, I had to drop Ellis at his first karate session. I have an hour til I have to collect hime, get him home, eat lunch then whizz him back off to his karate grading this afternoon the other side of town:rolleyes:...just call me Mrs taxi:rolleyes: He's going for his green belt today:woohoo: I've only come home to do some laundry and housework ...

Have you booked your carparking at Manchester yet? I got a great deal at the short stay literally across the road from the terminal - if you need details let me know. :thumbsup2
