Thanks for sending me that. White Plains/Westchester isn't on that site, but Bradley is so if we get an early flight we may look into it.

White Plains/Westchester is a very small airport that caters primarily to corporate jets. The closest city would be Greenwich, CT...the richest city in America. I don't think I will find affordable lodging there!

I think they have 3 or 4 gates for the airlines that serve the airport. There is one garage thats it. I have googled "parking at westchester airport" and the answer I find the most is to "get a ride" It would be pretty hard finding someone to drive us 100 miles one way.

I am still holding out for Delta or Southwest to come through for me.

Actually, Westchester is expanding their flights and JetBlue is flying out of there, non-stop to Orlando now. Frank flew with them for our January trip and liked them very much.

But you're right about the parking. However, Frank lives in Greenwich (Riverside actually , very close to 95 ). Maybe you guys could work something out - PM me if you are interested.

So, Ellis and I went on our "date" this evening

He was quite the young man He even wore aftershave and hair gel

He asked for the bill and paid it all by himself (Daddy filled his wallet up for him)

The waitress couldnt believe it

What made it hysterical though was he didnt want to leave a tip ...he was moaning about how much I wanted to leave her ... he figured the more he left on the table, the less was left in his wallet.

What he doesnt realize is that Daddy will be asking for his change when he sees him in the morning

OMG Karen, this is too cute!

We just booked the flight down for the 22nd. We want to come home on Nov 2 which isn't open yet. I called JB & was told since they only book their flights as one way anyway we would be fine booking our return flight at a later date. We wanted to get that great price so we did it. The flight doesn't get to Orlando until 5:00 but that's a small price to pay for the convenience of non-stop from Portland & the price.

Wow, that's great Nancy!!! Gone are the days of having to book a round trip to get the best price.

I had a bookmark of the recipe for the Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie from Animators with the calories and total fat grams and now I can't find it I found just the recipe without the nutritional info but I wanted the info for my layout.

I give up...going to make supper

Rats I just looked into the Park, Sleep, Fly Hotels at Sacramento. The only one with 24 hr shuttle is very expensive. The others shuttle to the Airport too late for our 6:05am flight.

when we went to Sacramento to visit friends we stayed at the Orchid suites.. it was a very nice place and decent prices... and they bake cookies alllllll the time..lol the lobby smells like heaven! not sure about the shuttle.. we rented a car there

Sean is off for a curling thing... will never understand it... lol Bailey and I are disscusing supper..and I am dis'ing..lol

Went out to the craft stores and I got to hear "are you done yet?... what are you looking for anyways??" so I huffed and left.. i will go by myself sometime...kids....grrrr..lol

Right now that is our backup plan. I am really hoping I can get Southwest or Delta out of Bradley for less than $200 pp. I have Sky Miles on Delta, and a Rapid Reward on Southwest, so they are my first and second choices.

If the price doesn't go down, I may be in touch then.
