#6........:faint: :faint: :faint:

:rotfl: :rotfl: We laughingly said that we thought that her husband's war injury (he was badly shot up in his pelvis and legs--he's good now) would have taken care of the "fertility issue." Not so, because this will be their second child since he was injured in 2005.

Haven't popped in to say hello in a long time ... so

HIYA!!!!

:goodvibes

PS. Am I still allowed to do that? ;)

Hi everyone. Well, our friends Giap and Dave, let me know yesterday that they will not be joining us on the cruise afterall. Jeff, can you remove them from the list? Cass, can you remove them from the Bob website?

She's pregnant....due in September....that'll be number 6.

Congrats to the happy parents! :dance3: Sorry they won't be joining us though. :sad2:

thanks goosie ... I miss you guys! :goodvibes

Hey Bendy!!!! How the heck are you???

Kathy! I'm doing OK ... how are you? I've been lurking on your TR and it's really been a great read. Once I get caught up on other things I'm planning to spend more time catching up there.

Would you guys believe that I'm down to the last day-and-a-half on the food porn report? It's a miracle! :lmao:

Good morning everyone. I really can't wait to get the work laptop back! Elaine is really into some forums that she reads and of course, I am into the DIS. We end up seeing who can get to the laptop first! :lmao: For example, I started catching up on the posts from last night before taking the kids to the bus. When I came back, she had grabbed the computer and started catching up on her forums. She assured me that she didn't close the DIS on me and that I could get the computer back in a few minutes, which I did. I told her she needs to DIS as well.
Well actually, it is Saturday night because it is now Midnight Eastern time, so 11 p.m. our time which is still Saturday. :thumbsup2

Don't worry about putting it on your calendar, I'm sure we'll have more than enough discussion here about it.

Maybe we should do a ressie party that night. We have wi-fi here and all should be able to log on.
Do we have to be paid in full to be able to make Palo and excursion ressies? Last time it was our first cruise, so if I remember we paid by the time the window opened. I will pay a couple weeks earlier if it means being able to score the reservations. I just would like to know definitively.

A ressie party sounds like a fun idea even if we have to have it "virtually". We don't have any vacation scheduled for the end of July, so I am sure I will be sitting in front of the computer getting ready for that midnight hour.

Are you here to tell us that you have re-booked? No pressure or anything...:rotfl:

I wish.

Jay's company laid off 500 people this week and those who kept their jobs (luckily that includes Jay) are facing mandatory salary reductions and elimination of all bonuses until further notice. In Jay's case ... with salary and bonus together ... we're looking at a 25% reduction in our annual income compared with last year.

His bonus was pretty much guaranteed so that's why it's a rather painful adjustment. But I'll take that over his losing his job and benefits, especially the health insurance. I'm covered under his plan as well as mine and that's one way that we can afford all those pretty pills I pop every day.

Anyhoo ... as long as we can keep the liquor cabinets (yes, that's plural) stocked we'll be fine. :rotfl2:

Thanks for reading! This is my first attempt at a TR and I have been having a lot of fun, but it's almost over now :sad1: (Keep an eye out for the Great Contemporary Rant, which is not currently listed but will appear shortly ;) ) I would really appreciate your feedback, since you are a TR expert!

I also need to get my butt over to Food Porn - I've had so much going on lately I've fallen behind.

Which TA are you guys doing in 2010?

Last but not least, how are you feeling these days???

I thought that the cruise had to be paid off before any excursions or ressies could be made.....Someone correct me if I am wrong.:goodvibes

It's too bad that his bonus isn't one of those multi-million dollar ones we hear about in the news....he probably would still get that one, huh?

Are y'all still going to WDW in Oct?

That's what I thought as well. :thumbsup2 No big deal, I will just have to pay off the cruise a couple weeks earlier than expected.

Question of the Day:
What's your favorite show on the Magic/Wonder?

Can't remember the name but it was the first show. The one that had a little of everything in it.

Yes, I believe that the cruise must be paid in full to book.

I know some of you were talking about doing MNSSHP on the 31st ...

in case you haven't seen this:

2009 MNSSHP Dates

They will begin selling tickets on May 1st. :thumbsup2

Thanks!

I'm no expert .... I'm just full of wordiness! :lmao: I really think you've done a great job. I won't read a TR unless it's well written ... which is why I don't read many. ;)

There's lots of food porn and general silliness waiting for you when you need a laugh or are just plain old bored.

We're doing the September Repo ... bringing the Magic back to FL. Luckily we had the funds set aside for that one before Jay's company went wonky - we're not willing to give up that cruise unless financial disaster strikes.

And healthwise I'm doing pretty good. The sciatica is under control (so far) and I just started a jazzercize class this week to kick-start my metabolism and get myself moving again. All in all life is good! Thanks for asking.

Yeah, if Jay were a big-whig I'm sure he'd still have a golden parachute but no such luck. Oh well, the company is usually pretty generous when times are good so we're hopeful that once things turn around that money will come back.

We will still be at WDW in October because we've already got the reservation in place and our airfare is covered by gift cards. We just need to get park tickets and pay for food (uh oh).

Question of the Day:
What's your favorite show on the Magic/Wonder?
I really enjoyed both Disney Dreams and the Golden Mickeys. The opening show was nice as well. It really gets one psyched for the week. I just thought Captain Tom was a little stiff when he came out and introduced the senior staff.

Good, maybe things will work out and we can still meet up with y'all. I'm not sure if we're going to go into the parks for just one day--the price kills me, but maybe a drink or something to eat at the Boardwalk? We'll chat when the time gets closer, ok?

nope. just got back on here. i was distracted by a cute chick wearing blue eyeore flannel pj's.
she just finished her homework.:dance3: :dance3:

  to my sweetie.
it was 36 years ago today we went on our first date.

Sounds like the perfect opportunity to get a poochie!
