Not to jump in to Steve and Jeff's discussion, but I was thrilled when I saw that Delta lowered the price from Bradley (Hartford) to MCO. It is now priced at $199.

I was going to try booking a refundable ticket today using my SkyMiles, but I only have enough miles for a non refundable ticket. I will just wait. Looking at the seat map, there are only a few seats taken on the flight anyway.

American had dropped fares from O'Hare and Delta had good price, but they connect, from Milwaukee.

I think the airlines will be dropping their prices. People aren't booking too far out right now. You may see a sale in early summer. Seems they usually run one then, but the way things are, sales can pop up at any time.

Good luck.

Who are you flying on? It looks like most of us from WI are going on Air Tran.

Jeff, did you book your air yet?

We're going Airtran from Chicago Midway....along with at least some, if not all, the in-laws :scared1:

Hmmm, yes all very true :goodvibes But, he hasn't spent this whole time with the girl he picked, only one week after in NZ and then only the holidays. They aren't allowed to be out in public with each other until the final show. And he hasn't even spoken to the other girl since he ditched her in NZ :rolleyes1

I didn't watch any of the show, but which girl hasn't he spoken to since NZ? The one that is not Molly?

The one that he ended up with in the end was flying out there almost every weekend since the show stopped taping.

Next time I'll just list each BOBer in a separate post after the question. Then I know I'll get it right. :rotfl2:

I can yield to someone else since I did take 4 guesses to get it.

Nope, it's your turn now - pick a good one!

Wow, I'm a little dizzy reading all that :faint: ;)

We've been flying 3 or 4, and sometimes 5, times a year with DS since he was 3 1/2 months old (the first trip was to Puerto Vallarta Mexico - boy your hair would rise :scared1: if I went into detail how we packed that first trip). But we became pros at it and really traveled efficiently. Learned a lot of tricks along the way too. :thumbsup2

Hey Steve :wave2: Glad to hear your flights are booked :thumbsup2 I watched your videos and they seemed pretty much at par with what happens at most Character Meals. Sometimes you get lucky and one character will spend an extra amount of time but usually it's enough to take pics and get an autograph :upsidedow

I'm kinda jealous of you guys with great flight deals :rolleyes1 Currently, prices are about $700 per ticket for us :scared:

Karen, great news!!! :thumbsup2

Cass, do they ever run sales out of your area? How many airlines service MCO from there? Any Canadian airlines fly non-stop?

Silly question...how do you know the winner was flying out there almost every weekend??? The Bachelor said that they have ONLY spent one week together in NZ since the end of the show and also they spent the holidays together and that is it. All other contact has been through phone calls.

If I had my way, we would be doing that too! I love to fly and travel and wish we could do it more often. ::yes::

WOW! - They come and go pretty quickly! You dont get long with each character:eek: Mickey and co seemed to be at our table for ages at Ohanas...maybe we jsut struck lucky:confused3

Thats an expensive 3 minutes:eek:

Yep, but believe it or not, that's TONS better than the character interaction at Disneyland.

Continental. I was trying for Delta but they were staying pretty high. I can't remember why we couldn't do Air Tran.

Yep, you are correct. Sorry we didn't make that clear on the KK boards. If you would have asked, and maybe you did, we would have told you, you could. So did you not get to dinner last time? I remember you at brunch.
I don't think I asked. I just assumed. Sad for me. This time I'm taking full advantage of it though. I remember that you had commented on you dinner and I was wondering how you scored more than one ressie. but you are a lot more knowledgable than I about DCL so I figured that you lucked into something.

You mean Trunk Bay (Meghan's is on St. Thomas, Trunk is on St. John):

Yep that's what sold me. absolutely beautiful!

$68 per point? Is that through resale? I would think that would get taken by DVC through ROFR. $86 per point maybe not.

Agreed that $68 was the bottom of the spread that I saw. The actual amount were bet. $68 and $73 for contracts with very few 2009 points remaining. Those contracts with lots of points would go as high as $75 to $77 pp. Since most of the contracts were in that range, I figured that ROFR wouldn't be a problem. Of course Disney may want to snag up a few of those lower priced ones in order to resell to DVC members wanting to take advantage of the new treehouses. Later this year I'm going to come into about $13,000 and I'm thinking of buying in. I really didn't want to carry a loan for DVC, it didn't make a lot of sense for me. but If I can pay cash... it becomes more economical.

The Cat 6's are GTY, so those look booked. Wonder if the 6's will get 4's or 5's. Not sure how the 8's and 9's look. When we get closer, I'll check the rooms in each category like I did for the KK. It is a long process, but I can check every room to see if it comes up as available. It will give us a good idea how full the ship is too. I won't do that until probably inside the 75 day mark.

Wow! I didn't notice that the cat 6's were booked. That's interesting! I agree, in depth studies aren't much use until we are closer.

Inside info. Nancy can confirm without revealing that I would know.

O.K., I found this one and just had to post it.

WHO SAID THIS:

fake injury day?? thats right up my alley.

We both work full-time, so we take any chance to spend time with DS. Also, my parents never traveled. Dad retired and died within 5 years. Mom 6 years after that. Not waiting until retirement to travel. We have the means now and the health, so we're going. :thumbsup2

$13,000 - you might be able to get one right form DVC while cruising in October depending on how bad they need sales and the deals they are offering. If that is what you want to spend it on, I think you will be happy with what you probably will get as an offer at that time.

Good for you.

If I get one, I'm only looking for around 75 points (or less). I don't need a full contract, just enough for a short vacation each year. I would look at one of the properties that expires in the 2050's though. Figure I'll leave it to DS since I will be dead by then.
