Karen, I am so sorry you are suffering so much and have so much to do.

I'm all for this method!!!! The washer and dryer make great places to hide clutter in an emergency.

I got it all done except the ironing - I hid that in Neils wardrobe

Karen, sounds like you're overdoing it a bit! Take it easy!

With Neil working all the hours god sends I have to do it. I'm done for the evening now though. Just gotta bath the munchkin and he dopesnt know it yet but he's having an early night so I get an extra half hour peace!

Its been a nice day here today, even saw the sun for a short while. We are supposed to be getting sleet and snow mid week. It looks like you are sending that snow our way.

Its been positively lovely here today. I went out in a jumper! - no coat!

I kept looking out the window at all the things I should be getting done in the garden. I'm desperate to go rake the remaining leaves. It looks a mess and I like it all neat and tidy.

all those missed posts/threads, so I'm just jumping in here to check in and say hello!

Dinner ready, roast beef and yorkshire pudding and lots of veggies.

We're just having store bought chicken kievs.. I took the lazy route - I cant even pass them off as home made - they look too neat

Gotta go... back to the in laws. They'll wonder where I've dispappeared too! Hopefully Ellis has kept them occupied.

No Neil tonight. Something else has gone wrong now on the same machine. So far theyve fitted thoudands of pounds of machine parts and its still no good ... they might have to scrap it... oh well, its only a few million pounds worth

Complaining about grading papers written by children who just wanted to get something to done to hand in rather than trying to do what was expected - and each paper takes about an hour to grade? YES!!!! Complaining about hte snow - NO! It is beautiful!

Ds # 2 called from Atlanta this am and it was snowing, the kids has never driven in snow. I am not going to call and bug him, just said a quick prayer that he gets haome safely.

It's 38 here this am, it was so nice all week, we turned the solar onthe pool!!

It's been snowing here about 1 hour. Before it's over sometime tomorrow we are due to get 15 inches+

I'm making dinner tonight( usually my husband cooks).
We had ropa vieja in a restuarant around here recently and I'm going to try to make it.
I hope I can make it edible, I'm not the greatest cook.

Finished grading all I can. I just went out to catch snowflakes on my tongue - these are the biggest snowflakes I have ever seen! It is coming down hard too.

Kind of like a stew, we had it served over rice.
There's beef that you braise for a few hours so you can shred it and then mix it with lots of peppers, onions, celery, carrots and tomato and spices.

It was yummy when we had it, I hope mine turns out that way

Good afternoon everyone. We are gearing up for the snow that is forecasted. I checked the weather channel on my phone and it sounds like 10-14 inches for us. I will watch the 6:00 local news to see what they have to say.

We're getting ready to head over to Applebee's for Hazel's birthday dinner.......

We had it at a mexican restaurant. But when I looked it up online it was listed as mexican on some and cuban on others.
