Question of the Day (via Kathy)

What's your favorite WDW quick service restaurant?

My answer: I don't eat at the parks so I would pick The Earl of Sandwich at DTD for that yummy Caribbean Jerk Chicken sammy. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Gotta to be Columbia House for Fish and Chips.

Probably the Boulangerie Patisserie or the Yorkshire County Fish Shop unless of course, quick service can include a Dole Pineapple Float!!!

Yes, I like the Boulangerie at France as well

I am not sure what I liked better at WDW, I liked the Earl of sandwich... and well I like food in general.. I don't think I had a bad meal while I was there..lol I REALLY likes prime time.... drool..... lol

So what's everyone up to this weekend??

Not a lot Nancy...some stuff todo round the house. Seeing by DB and my SIL tonight. Games night tonight.

Tomorrow, I have a bit of work that I brought home with me, to do tomorrow. We also need to pop to the DIY store as well, which I hate.

So what's everyone up to this weekend??
UK moms....doing anything special this weekend?

I've just dropped off devil child ant the witches house so Neil and I can go out...if he ever makes it home.:rolleyes1 He's stuck on a major job, parts flying all over the world to get to him etc etc. He's back there tomorrow. They may even have to fly in the big wigs from Germany. Multi million pound machine scrapped:scared1:

Oh dear. Here's some    for you

Thanks Heather:hug:

It feels a lot better today..not so sore. Thanks guys.

:thumbsup2

Have your tried the veggie chilli? - its lovely too. So are the chicken strips.:thumbsup2

Hazel and I have always had a very open relationship with Angelina, she feels very comfortable talking to us with just about anything. We feel very blessed in this area!!! :thumbsup2

What was funny the other night, Angelina asked me if I could hand write her letter to Bryan. Angelina printed out a rough copy, but she said my handwriting is so much better than hers. I told her she needed to write it to Bryan in her own handwriting, which she did, but, she did let me read the letter she wrote as well.

Excellent - for now, that is exactly what you want. Of course, once she is married, that closeness needs to transfer - within reason. Awesome!!!

Are you talking about me Mimi? :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Of course not!

I've just dropped off devil child ant the witches house so Neil and I can go out...if he ever makes it home.

He'll come around - just keep loving on him, even though he is rather unlovable right now according to what you say. We need it the most when we deserve it the least.

So true!!! Lord knows we've had our moments with the princess: that lives in this house.......;)

Hang in there. They do get better and turn into very nice young men.

Well I just skimmed through many pages & captured some quotes, only to find that DH had answered most of them. but I'll proceed anyway.

No trip to WDW is complete for me unless I've had a Mickey sundae at Beaches & Cream at Yacht & Beach Club.

All you people who are giving the lobster you don't like to Dan - I LIKE LOBSTER!! Don'[t forget me!!

I don't think I have ever had a hot dog from Casey's. I have from other counter service restaurants. I think I just might have to try one at MNSSHP.

I'm not a hot dog lover so am embarrassed to say I don't know where Casey's is.

Yes, maybe we can have a New England meet and greet one night, when Di and I are in the area....Maybe Dan can coordinate, since he is retired...:rotfl:

What do you think New Englanderss???? :thumbsup2 ;)

Walt :cool1:

Sounds like a fine idea although NE is pretty big & it might be hard finding a suitable location. Probably worth a shot sometime - and most likely you-know-who would end up doing it! Maybe Boston. How many NewEnglanders do we have here anyway?

I used to like it when my grandparents lived in Brick. Their house was nice, they had an awesome great room. My grandma and I would go over to Point Pleasant and walk on the boardwalk no matter what season it was.

Now they live in Amish Country...Lancaster County, PA. I am heading there for a few days in April to visit.

A former co-worker moved to Brick.

Hey Everyone.

Just catching up.

Walt-congrats on the retirement.

My favorite transport was the Skyway between Fantasyland and Tomorrowland. Now, its the Monorail.

My favorite food is Bobotie at Boma and drink is the Grey Goose slusie in France.

We only have 5 more sleeps until we are with the Mouse :)

Hey, Amanda, good to "see" you.

We live near a large navy base as well as the Coast Guard Academy. Whenever we go to the mall we always see seamen and cadets.

Once there was a very attractive female cadet at the mall. A couple of mall rats were eyeing her and drooling over themselves. I thought to myself, you losers have no chance with her!

We had a fund raiser at the local AA baseball team in town and my DS was one of several who threw out the first pitch. One of the others was a commader of one of the subs stationed at SubBase New London. I will look for the pic.

Would that team be the Navigators?

He finished his second round of antibiotics today - still has steroids. He is feeling a bit better, but he is not 100% - we'll take better! Thanks for asking!!!
Dinner and a movie time!

Dan mentioned Mack was ill but I wasn't sure what he had. Was it bronchitis or pneumonia? Glad he's getting better - these coughs are hanging on a long time I hear.

Hey Dan - Thanks for asking about Mack. He is on the mend; we just aren't sure how mended yet. He finished his second round of antibiotics yesterday but still has more steroids to take. Thanks again! I hope you and Nancy are doing well. Any grandchildren games to take in this weekend?

Off to grade research papers and tests, folks - I'll check in later.

Have a good time, is the snow slowing down?

The snow is NOT slowing down - 2 more storms in the forecast & below normal temps.

MG, can I help you with these? Our Disney Store, in the mall, is only 10 minutes from our house. Let me know if I can be of service.

As Dan said there are no longer any Disney stores in Maine but I think there are still some in NE , just don't know where.

I would ask for interest on the $$$ as well.

Absolutely!!

Just did a search for Disney Stores - looks like there are 10 left in NE, mostly in eastern Mass. around Boston (but not in Boston) & a couple NH. 1 in RI & 1 in CT. Just in case anyone cares!!!

N

whoo hoo I finally got my netbook!:cool1: And of course the first site I go to is the Dis Bob Boards!

I am a lobster-lover! Send lobster my way too. Better yet, order a lot. The crew gets what is left on the tables.

Nancy, Mack has pneumonia, but since he needs an inhaler too, the doctor was smart enough not to put it in his history and is calling it acute bronchitis and sinusitis.

OK housework done.. yay!!:cheer2:

now what to do??.. Dis is pretty quiet...hmmm

All you people who are giving the lobster you don't like to Dan - I LIKE LOBSTER!! Don'[t forget me!!

Nancy K, you and Mimi can have mine. :thumbsup2 I tried it a couple times and just don't like it.:sad2:

I know you're responding to Nancy K, but here is a little more :pixiedust: for Mack.
