We love the Star lite cafe - I think that's the name, by the race care, the food is ok but the goofy guy on the piano is a riot. But for food is the Flame tree in AK, The onion rings are to die for!!

Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe featuring Sonny Eclipse the lounge singer! You're right - the food is just average but I love the entertainment!

I've just dropped off devil child ant the witches house so Neil and I can go out...if he ever makes it home. He's stuck on a major job, parts flying all over the world to get to him etc etc. He's back there tomorrow. They may even have to fly in the big wigs from Germany. Multi million pound machine scrapped

Have your tried the veggie chilli? - its lovely too. So are the chicken strips.

Hello everyone...It seems like it has been awhile (a little over a day) since I have been on. Elaine has been hogging the computer lately posting on her twilightmoms forums so I just willingly let her enjoy it. I can't wait until my work laptop is done!

Today I went to the CT Home Show. We had one of our disaster canteens on display, so I just had to wear my uniform and greet people for a four hour shift. It wasn't too bad, but a long time to be on the feet.

What's your favorite WDW quick service restaurant?

My answer: I don't eat at the parks so I would pick The Earl of Sandwich at DTD for that yummy Caribbean Jerk Chicken sammy.

I would have to say I had a great counter service meal at Tusker House in AK called the Villiage Special. It was delightful.

Sounds like a fine idea although NE is pretty big & it might be hard finding a suitable location. Probably worth a shot sometime - and most likely you-know-who would end up doing it! Maybe Boston. How many NewEnglanders do we have here anyway?

The team used to be called the Norwich Navigators. They wanted the broaden their appeal and regionalize their marketability. They are now called Connecticut Defenders. They wanted to keep the theme of the region with the Sub Base and USCG Academy nearby. Their mascot is an Eagle called Cutter. Sometimes Cutter stands kettles for me!

I am hearing light mix tonight into tomorrow, then a break for a few hours, then it starts with the snow Sunday into Monday. Most likely no school Monday for the kiddos.

The only time there is no school due to weather for Calgary is if it is below -40

They cancel here for the threat of snow. Well not usually, but it has happened. Usually an inch or so will cancel for the day, dusting will incur a 90 minute delay.

wow... wish I lived there when I was a kid..lol always had to go to school when I lived in Revelstoke.. no snow too deep there..LOL

It's crazy here. It drives me nuts. Everything just shuts down for the smallest amount of snow. They also don't plow well around here. At least being March, the sun is high enough in the sky that whatever snow we get should melt fast.
