Hey Becky and Heather. I did see we had the "Golden Mickey" menu on the Repo. Do either of you have a copy of that menu?

Could you post the items in each category if you do?

I'll see if Suz "stole" a copy of it tonight.

CRUISE RELATED QUESTION ALERT!!!!

It appears that DCL has done away with the "Master Chef" menu on the Magic (which is good because I hated that menu). Instead, they now have a "Golden Mickeys" menu on the night of the Golden Mickeys. My question is, does anyone have a link to the new menu? Or could you post a copy of it?

Also, now this puts me in a dilema as to which night to go to Palo. I always went on "Master Chef" night. They still have the 3 rotational dinners, "Pirate" night, "Captain's Gala" (a/k/a Lobster night) and "Til We Meet Again". So what do I skip? My night in Lumiere's? I love the PC menu. I'd skip AP on the show night because it does nothing for me, but I'll get over ruled on that one.

Maybe I'll have to go for a later Palo dinner, sit through the show at AP or just normal dinner at L without ordering anything and then go to Palo.

Do I dare skip Palo this time?

Why not miss it this time to try the new menu. As Chris mentioned you could do brunch and still get in Palo.

No, I've only got the dessert menu...

Ricotta Creme Brulee
The Golden Chocolate, Chocolate Award
Baked Apple and Blueberry Pithiviers
Passionfruit Napoleon
Strawberry Sundae

But I might be able to find it somewhere else.

Oh, we're doing brunch, but we also like dinner (although if we could only choose one, it would be brunch).

I didn't see it on the main DIS site (wdwinfo) or on the site that can't be linked here. If you can find it, that would be great. I thought Becky took the menu every night though. Hopefully she'll log on today and see my request.

Heather, where did you find yours? It is different from the scans Cass posted.

Do you recall which one we had on the Repo?

If Cass' is what they're going with, I will skip L night. The one thing I get off the L menu is the duck and that is on the GM menu that Cass posted.

Nancy/Cheryl,

Given the fact that Air Tran doesn't want to drop those prices back into MKE after the cruise I was looking at flights to/from O'Hare. Before you discount it, they have some good "park and fly" hotels there which shuttle you to check-in. Some can be gotten for about the same price as parking at MKE.

Anyhow, I see American has non-stop flights both ways for $79 down and $84 return, before taxes. Total round-trip, with taxes is only $184.

The flights down on the 22nd are at:

6:40 a.m. - 10:10 a.m.
12:40 p.m. - 4:20 p.m.
6:40 p.m. - 10:20 p.m.
the 3:25 p.m. flight is higher priced

Coming back, there is only one flight for $84, but it would give you the day in FL. The time is:

7:40 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.

For $104 on the return before taxes, you could fly at:

7:35 a.m. - 9:25 a.m., or
5:15 p.m. - 7:05 p.m.

Just thought I'd give you a heads up on what is out there. That is a really good fare.

We had a daughter that was stillborn. She would have been 22 years old last November. It was 22 days away from my 22nd birthday when she was "born". It seems 22 is the dominate number here....... and our prayers.

So sorry for your loss....:flower3:

Gotta love La Nouba Kathy. Thanks for the update.

Thanks for reading Heather!

English translation please.......:rolleyes1

I was thinking the same thing. :confused3 :confused3

Didn't yuz guys never have to read that Shakespeare guy when yuz wuz in high school?

Et tu Karen??? I'm shocked! :scared1: Where the heck is Mimi???

Thanks!

I'd be careful there Fay - Mimi wrote her last poem in iambic pentameter! :rotfl:

Dear Daniel Webster, Kathy is messing with me...help! :lmao:

That menu looks just fine as "dinner" for me! Who needs anything else? :goodvibes

We skippped Palo last time. I actually gave my res to a couple that had never been. Our table was so much fun we didn't miss anything. Brunch is my favorite any way.

I have hardly read any of the posts on this thread! I seem to have been occupied with other things or the computer wasn't available when I was. So I'll say hello & not try to catch up.....

BIGGEST LOSER fans - what did you think of the realignment of teams? Not the change itself but the reaction of everyone, including Bob! I wanted to you-know-what. All that crying is so stupid. There, I just had to say that to someone!!! I also think they should have kept Dane to help boost their weight loss, but I guess they saw him as too much of a threat. I didn't agree though, at least not this early.

Have you heard the dreaded word for Sunday??? Nor'easter? They are saying snow and ice for us it sounds like.

Yes, we heard snow too. The only good thing is that the son that works at Bowdoin College grounds crew gets double time for emergency call in on Sunday.

Why not miss it this time to try the new menu. As Chris mentioned you could do brunch and still get in Palo.

Yes that's what we do - brunch. I hate to miss an evening meal as well.

Hey, there you are! How ya doing? I've been MIA for a few days.

It's a tough job, but someone has to do it!

Yes, very nice of you! And then they had a big fight because he didn't want to miss Animator's Palette! :lmao: Or was it her? I can't remember!

You're right - we DID have a fun table! But this time we have more nights.
