Didn't yuz guys never have to read that Shakespeare guy when yuz wuz in high school?

Shakes who?

High School, you mean almost 40 years ago? I'm lucky if I remember what I did yesterday......:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Hey Everyone,

I'm way behind and have a lot of reading to do to get caught up again it seems. I'll have to make myself a cup of tea and get settled in later tonight when my family is out.:surfweb:

I just called DCL. We had the late dining time but were on a wait list for early. They have already switched us to early - hooray for us. :cheer2: We find this works much better for our kids and my parents, if they end up coming. Just thought I'd let you know as I know that some of you are wanting to be switched over as well.

Have a great night!!!

Ok, so there's been a lot of talk over on my TR thread about the not-so-young-but-still-very-hunky-looking-bare-chested-guy-wearing-spandex-pants-with-six-pack-abs-you-could-bounce-a-silver-dollar-off (a.k.a. hunky half naked guy) who is the star of the Aerial Ballet in La Nouba.

Just so you know I'm not making this up, here he is, for your viewing pleasure (and I do mean pleasure ;) ):

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c8aeQO-M7kM

Do ya think we could convince him to come on the B.O.B. cruise???

All kidding aside, the first and last parts of this act also have the most beautiful music in the show!

I am not a big Palo dinner fan. I don't like the fancy stuff. That's why I like Brunch so much, shrimp, pizza, dessert and of course pancakes!!!! I am a very boring eater just meat & potatoes or plain old pasta, but boy do I like my desserts....

Andy - Hugs to you and Hazel. :grouphug::grouphug:

Another quick congrats before I go...I see Mimi hit DISpost #2000!!!

Congrats Mimi!!!

Didn't realize I had hit 2000. Thanks!

Mimi- hope Mack is on the mend.

Thank you - he is on the mend, better but it is going slowly. I'll take better, though - Thank you, God!
Oh my Mimi! Et tu?... were you trying to sneek on by without a poem too?.... norty norty! ..... get thinking up a poem please:goodvibes Hope Macks feeling better today :)

Roses are red
Violets are blue
I'll write a poem later
If Mimi does too. :goodvibes

Chris/Lori. You are almost at post 1000. Karen will be expecting a poem from you too. :lmao:

I'll try to work on a poem after I grade 58 tests and 25 research papers this weekend.

I heard, and "NOT" looking forward to it.........:sad2: :sad2: :sad2:

Came home from work early today(2pm) as my right knee is killing me(over did it the past few days at work). I've got the infra-red heating pad wrapped around it trying to ease the pain. Aging is a kick in the butt....:scared: :scared: :scared:

From one who suffers from chronic knee pain, I am so sorry to hear this! Aging is as you say, but it beats the alternative!

English translation please.......:rolleyes1

I was thinking the same thing. :confused3 :confused3

That's good, I'm not the only one who didn't understand..........:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Thanks for reading Heather!

Didn't yuz guys never have to read that Shakespeare guy when yuz wuz in high school?
Et tu Karen??? I'm shocked! :scared1: Where the heck is Mimi???

Thanks!

I see you guys got your answer on iambic pentameter. The play at the tavern today was horrid! Let's just say that at this morning matinee performed specifically for students, the actors took excessive creative liberties with the character of Mercutio, in particular. We left at intermission and only waited that long so as not to make a horrible scene. The mildest of it was when he came out from under the maid's skirt and made a comment about how she didn't have any hair! That is not part of Shakespeare's writing!!!! It was really disappointing because students who had difficulty reading it were really getting it by seeing it. I hope we get our money back.

Off to catch up on some other things - I'll check back later!

Nancy/Cheryl,

Given the fact that Air Tran doesn't want to drop those prices back into MKE after the cruise I was looking at flights to/from O'Hare. Before you discount it, they have some good "park and fly" hotels there which shuttle you to check-in. Some can be gotten for about the same price as parking at MKE.

Anyhow, I see American has non-stop flights both ways for $79 down and $84 return, before taxes. Total round-trip, with taxes is only $184.

The flights down on the 22nd are at:

6:40 a.m. - 10:10 a.m.
12:40 p.m. - 4:20 p.m.
6:40 p.m. - 10:20 p.m.
the 3:25 p.m. flight is higher priced

Coming back, there is only one flight for $84, but it would give you the day in FL. The time is:

7:40 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.

For $104 on the return before taxes, you could fly at:

7:35 a.m. - 9:25 a.m., or
5:15 p.m. - 7:05 p.m.

Just thought I'd give you a heads up on what is out there. That is a really good fare.

Jeff,

I just pulled the trigger on our airline tickets...we're flying Airtran out of Midway on the 23rd, coming back on the 31st (so no MNSSHP for us).

Anyway, before taxes, it was $83 down and $79 returning....happy me!

Good news for those who are hoping to make the switch from late to early. I'm hoping to do the opposite. ;)

They were suppose to be in a Kohl's commercial, but it didn't run. The "ugly" guy :rotfl2: you're talking about was in it.

We were hoping to get Cirq tickets out of it. Not sure if we still can.

Wowwee, this is soooo cool!!! Why didn't they run it???

Yet another reason to shop at Kohl's!

I hope you get to see it - it really is a breathtaking show.

There were issues. Can't get into it. It would have been cool though.

Hi Nancy.

How about all the rain tonight. Could be worse, 50 miles north and they are getting dumped by snow.

Remember, before you (or should I say Chuck) go to bed, go salt your driveway. It will be freezing tonight. Put it down before hand and you won't have to worry about the ice tomorrow morning. :thumbsup2

1000 post poem......

Raise the rum, put fear in their belly
At the sight of the Capt Jack, women turn to jelly.

pirate:

will that do?
