We always order pizza the night before we leave for dinner. For Manda and I, that is a treat :)

I have to say making ham salad sandwiches for the drive down to Florida. But we always finish them off before we hit the border, usually we start eating them 10 mins from our driveway....:lmao:

Chris/Lori, when we drove to Florida when our kids were little, we always packed up a cooler packed with snacks and sandwiches too. Our's was Hungarian Summer Sausage on fresh Kaiser rolls! Our first stop was at the first wayside in Indiana where we ate our sandwiches. My MIL would always make us a home made apple pie to take along too. Since we would sleep in our van at a wayside along the way, we had breakfast at a picnic table at the rest stop. Apple pie with 4 forks!! No plates. :rotfl: Ahhhhh, good times. :cloud9:

Good morning everyone!

I hate to be the bearer of bad news this Monday morning but we will not be cruising with you fine folks this October. We are pushing our trip to December instead and probably just trying to fit in a 3-night cruise.

My apologies as we were looking forward to meeting everyone! :goodvibes

I'll always be a FOB. :lovestruc

:sad1: I'm sorry you're not sailing with us Mel:sad1:

That must be why Mack is still sick - I haven't fed him enough apple baby slop!!!!.

:scared: Noooooo, Apple slop makes you sicker - STAY AWAY FROM THE APPLE SLOP!:rotfl: ... Big hugs to Mack - hope he feels better soon:grouphug:

What has become a personal or family tradition for your trips to WDW, even though some people might think it corny?

We always at TGI Front Row on our last day. We always buy a christmas ornament (ok,.... about 20:rotfl: ) each time we go.

Whenever we pack a picnic I'm exactly the same - we've barely got on the motorway before we're diving into the goodie bag for food:lmao:

We usually end up eating it all then having lunch out aswell:rolleyes1

Question of the day...(Thanks Heather)

My answer: A Nathan's hot dog at MCO and Olde Towne in Kissimmee.:cutie:

We try to do one Character meal!!

Well, I made it through lunch at school today - my backs aching a lot now, but at least I survived!

I got a lift there so that saved me a walk and I just took it easy on the way home. They want me in every day again this week (I'm only meant to do Tuesdays), we need the money so every day is more pennies.:thumbsup2

regardless, as to WDW, DL or DCL. On the last day the kids get to pick out that "one" toy that they've had their eyes on all trip and get it. It keeps me from having to buy souveniers all trip long.

We have to ride the WEDway PeopleMover (a.k.a. Tomorrowland Transit Authority)!

Paging Mr. Morrow - Mr. Tom Morrow!

Good morning everyone. Despite being a Monday, I am somewhat motivated to get some things done today.

Sorry to hear that Mel and EB won't be joining us.

Kathy, that was a good 25 Random things. Yankee dugout and clubhouse. I am insanely jealous, especially considering I haven't got my invoice for my 2009 plan yet. Once I post this, I will check again at yankees.com. I may even call and try to convince whoever I talk to that I will upgrade to a bigger plan.

My kids are young and have only been to WDW once with us, but for me and my sister, we don't consider we our arrival is complete until we ride Pirates of the Caribbean. I try to make that the first ride that I ride. We always go up Main Street and hang a left into Adventureland.

Good morning! I will be more of a lurker this week because we have the regional basketball tournament at the high school. We will be there most of the week after our real jobs. I hope everyone was able to stay warm this weekend. I am going to try and catchup.

Kathy I am loving your report!:woohoo:

Mimi I hope Mac feels better.:wizard:

Mel I am sorry you will not be joining us. :sad2:

Have a great day!

Matching family t-shirts........:rolleyes1

We did this back in Jan 07. Yellow matching t-shirts. The kids were miffed..:confused3 ..LOL, but they wore them, until they got their luggage....then that was it.:lmao:

That was the old stadium, of course, but it was incredibly cool. I hear that a lot of other ballparks don't include that kind of stuff in their tours, so I was fortunate. I had some friends that did the Fenway tour a couple of years ago and they were really disappointed that they didn't get to see more of the stadium.

I can't believe they haven't contacted you yet, especially since they are selling ticket plans online. I have to get with the guys here to see if they've heard anything yet. The first exhibition game is 4/3!

You sound like you have the same kind of relationship with your sister that I have with my brother - still friends after growing up. :thumbsup2

I was at a conference in Pittsburgh and our Direct Mail company hosted a reception at PNC park. The tour was really lame. We saw the press box, dugout, and batting cage.

I was at another conference in Atlanta and the tour of Turner Field was very good. We saw everything!

I just emailed my ticket rep. I even volunteered to go to a higher plan. I just want to get in the door! I don't care where I sit as long as the seats are not the premium seats. The bleachers work great for me!

Tracy and I are pretty tight. We call each other often but we also can be a little catty, particularly when it comes to the Yankees. She is a lurker, so she will probably read this.

It was her and my dad that got us on our last cruise and this cruise. On our last cruise, we had just moved to Connecticut and they came down for Labor Day weekend. Tracy was trying to convince me all weekend. It was easy to convince me of course, but Elaine can be the tough one. She had DS who was 3 at the time go up to Elaine and say, "mommy I want to go on the Mickey cruise." Over the next hour, we did number crunching and within a week we were booked.

Chris - I just PM'd you with the answer I got from one of my co-workers about the ticket plans. I don't think you're going to like it!

She was ok when I saw her, I could tell that she just wasn't herself. She was clutching onto me and wouldn't even go near Grandma, which is weird! I think it's mostly just a lack of sleep since she didn't sleep until almost 11pm both nights. She actually fell asleep in her bed tonight!! :scared1:

Rob and I always take bets on where she fell asleep, my guess was the closet, his was the window...we were both wrong!!! :lmao:

Rob said she didn't want to do or go anywhere, didn't want to see or be with anyone else but him. Had meltdowns ALL the time! I hope she's not like that in Florida!! :scared:

She wont be. She will be alittle older and understand alittle more. I probably will sound like Rob's mother. You better get her out more often and practice with her. I guess that is the Gramma in me. Try her favorite movies in the DVD player or her favorite music. Bring along her favorite toys. You should see my car it is still full of favorite toys and books for the grandkids. (what a mess) I guess I was lucky my kids and grandkids used to sleep in the car whenever we traveled. If they did not sleep they would watch a movie, read, write, or play with their toys. Asiah still sleeps in the car whenever we are on our way to the gym or basketball. Erika my youngest daughter too likes to sleep in the car. She does not like to ride in the car so she sleeps. Diane

Kathy, I just sent you another PM mentioning what plan I had and what plan I am looking to get this year. Maybe your co-worker knows something since he got his invoice.
