We were just there in 07 Chris. This is where we got the "spiel" on tipping heavily when the tour was done. Did you enjoy this excursion? We did NOT. Long story and not worth going into anymore. :headache:
It was my first cruise and first excursion. I think I gave the guide a $10 for a tip. Our Dune Buggy broke down at the spot where the drivers switch. Incidently, it was my turn to drive. The car just broke down and wouldn't turn over. I pulled over to the side and we waited for the guide to return. I guess they plan on this, and have the last couple of cars have only two people. Well, he comes flying down the road, does a 180 in front of us as the car comes to a stop. He then tells us to get in while he jumps on the hood. I hesitate to drive seeing this nutjob riding on the hood. He says, "hey senior, drive, but go slow ok." Well, I was going slow, and he tells me, "too slow senor drive faster." I was probably going 40-45 with this crazy guy riding the hood of the car. Here is a pic.

And of course, our broken down buggy...

Has anyone been to the Pee Pee Station in Cozumel??? If not, heres a funny story. We took the Dune Buggy tour in Cozumel on our first cruise in 2004. After our beach and lunch break, our guide Clemente, kept talking about us stopping at the Pee Pee Station. I thought it was his way of saying we would stop at a Mexican version of a high way rest stop. No...we went to a store called the Pee Pee Station. Here are pics.

Caught up to page 11.....

Well, it looks like I'm caught up. Think I'll go lay down now. I took the day off because I can't sit too much today. My back is better than it was last night, but still bad. Hope I survive the kids tonight. Not looking forward to the snow tomorrow though. Good thing we have a snowblower. Although, I think four 9 years olds could clear the drive way pretty quickly, don't you? :rotfl2:

Feel better Jeff!

Here you guys are....I was in shock! I am a lurker, nothing more and nothing less. I kept looking in on thread # 18 and was quite taken back when all traffic seemed to stop last night. I couldnt figure it out. I was worried that the ship left without me...so to speak...:lmao: But here you are, I found you. Off I go lurking again....
Oh, by the way, this is my contribution to thread #19. I am sure by the time I finish typing this you will be onto thread # 20 or # 21...:rotfl2:
Have a great day everyone........I am in the midst of a snow storm, so my day sucks.

We aren't that fast....(are we?) :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Nice of you to stop in though. :thumbsup2

Not to worry Nancy - they are made with love in Coney Island and they contain many delicious and nutritious ingredients.

"It gained its first international exposure when President Franklin Delano Roosevelt served Nathan’s Famous hot dogs to the King and Queen of England in 1939. Later, Roosevelt had Nathan’s hot dogs sent to Yalta when he met with Winston Churchill and Joseph Stalin. Years later, Nelson Rockefeller, Governor of New York, stated that, “No man can hope to be elected in his state without being photographed eating a hot dog at Nathan’s Famous."

You obviously have very good taste! And remember, food consumed on vacation doesn't contain any calories!

EXCELLENT!!!:thumbsup2

I'm not sure I'd be able to watch - I'd be jumping in and smacking any kid who tried to wrestle Ellis:rolleyes1 :lmao:

:lmao: :lmao:

Caught up through page 13....

:scared1: Oh my goodness. Please tell me that this is not one of you!!! I'm thinking about jumping ship if it is. I'm off to pack my dh & ds for a hockey tournament this weekend. I get to stay home with dd and dog and get caught up around the house:laundy: Maybe I'll even get to take my Christmas tree down - something I maybe should have been doing instead of reading all of the posts - this is very addictive!!!

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Except the accountants. :lmao:

So, how many "strange" groups do we have now on this thread. We had the "scarred", the "left-handers", then the "bad backs", and now the "accountants". Not sure if the "non-touching food" is a group. Is it only Lori and Mike in that one?

What's next, the tattoo or piercing (other than ears) group? I for one am not in either of those.

Well if you start the tattoo or piercing group each one of my kids has a tattoo! :headache: I think the girls had their belly buttons pierced but not anymore.

Back to page 14.....

Well, I am now officially alone for the whole weekend :woohoo:

Just said goodbye to my two loves who are off to a wedding. I've turned off every light, turned down the thermostat to 17ºC, turned up my Disney music and started scrapbooking :cool1:

I have a chiro appt at 3 and then I am back to my SBing for the rest of the weekend ;)
