I will have to remember that for the cruise. We will most likely be flying Southwest, especially if there are fares to be had that are equivalent to yours. Is Avis in the airport at MCO? That is one thing I like about Budget.

I used Avis once before, they did have a rental desk at the MCO airport.

When I looked at the ressie e-mail I received from Southwest, there was a box for a 40% discount for using Avis. I clicked on the box and reserved the exact same car I had with Budget. The Avis rate came in at $211.63 with all taxes and fees included(except for gas of course).

Thats a great deal for a week. I was playing around a few weeks ago pricing cars for the cruise, and Avis came in cheaper without any codes for a full size car. Since we are going on a cruise and have formal wear, and have garment bags, etc, we need a big trunk. Elaine is also a notorious over packer!

So is Hazel!!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Mimi--I hope Mack starts feel better real soon, sorry to hear the meds he has been on hasn't helped much. Here are some :flower3: and :wizard: for Mack.
Thanks Andy! He is rarely sick and when he is, he is usually better in a few days, so this is really odd.

Evening all

I took pictures of all the answers. I won't post them so others can try if they want. I did help out a couple of people each of the last two cruises we were on. They were stumped on a couple.

It is a good way to explore the island though.

I think the first one at the Post Office was the hardest.

Sorry about the new snow, Dan and Nancy! I know you are tired of it. Spring must be on its way sometime soon!

Andy - Glad you were able to put in the workout. I know you and Hazel will have fun on your trip!

Karen - Don't overdo it. This back stuff is nothing to mess with and can make you feel older very quickly.

My husband is quite sick - he has been on some high-powered medications now for the week - including steroids, but he is not better. Back to the doctor tomorrow.

Hope Mack feels better soon Mimi. :flower3:

Okay - now you made me hungry - mix those pumpernickel croutons (and I am sure they are not too point friendly) with Ruby Tuesday's edemame and cucumber-tomato salad and oh my, what a delicious lunch. Ugh! I wish Mack felt like going out for lunch. That is exactly what I would want!

Ooooh, that sounds really good too. I might have to make a trip to RT for dinner tonight. :woohoo:

Hmmm. We may need to separate the scars into 2 groups: accidental and on purpose (surgical). I have one of each - dog bite on my face and surgical on my elbow.

I'm a member of both clubs myself. :scared1:

Thanks Nancy!

It is a good combination!

You know what I was talking about how I want to go to London, and a couple of teachers piped up and said it has been the only place they have gone to and not want to leave. If it wasn't soooooo far a way from my family, and Sean could get hired with a good police type job I would be there in a hot second.
Of course I will be moving closer so at least the flight will be shorter when you come visit. Or we can just meet in WDW every other year, we'd be able to drive it then.

I know what you mean about families and moving so far away from them. But moving closer to us within the US will definately help out on the flight time.:thumbsup2

You should post some of your work, I would love to see it! :goodvibes :thumbsup2:

I will do Cass, although my album tends to be a pictoral journal leading from a written journal page. Does that make sence?:confused3

So I have a off topic thing...lol

I have decided to make my own earrings.. I have peirced ears but they always get infected.. no matter what kind of earrings I wear.. so I am trying clip ons.. well thats a "old" thing no one really carries and those that do feel it is nessesary to charge alot.. so off to micheals to see what I can do.. I am crossing my fingers I can make better and more than I would to spend the money on a couple of pairs! :-)

Post a few pics please Bernie when you're finished.

Hi UK Sis,
Getting a new netbook on Thursday, should be up and running by this weekend. Maybe we can schedule a skype date!:cool1:

La La La...you betya. Did the other netbook have a problem?

Wouldn't recognize our IP address....so we switched it out for a better version of the one that Sarah has, and it recognizes it. Best Buy was out of them so they had to order one from the warehouse, should be here on Wednesday.

Well off to Target to pick up a couple of things. I'll PM you Heather when we get all set up so we can schedule something.:cool1:

Well at least you found out what was wrong.

Whats making this one fun, is using some of the great scrap swap kits that I received on the cruise.

Not sure if it has been answered yet, but they have the "preferred" pickup at MCO as well - you can go right to the garage and bypass the counter.

What's even better is in Port they have it as well. Budget does NOT have "fast break" in the Port. With Avis, we walk right in, go to the right of the counter, give our names and they hand us our keys and rental info. Nothing else is needed. Quick and simple. It is really nice if you're catching a plane early in the afternoon (or before).
