One more question of the day. I can't come up with anymore, so if someone wants to take this over, please do.

Name your favorite Disney Resort. (It does not have to be in Florida)

My answer: Caribbean Beach in the Aruba section. :woohoo:
At WDW it has to be Animal Kingdom Villas Savannah View it was awesome seeing the animals in the morning

I love Boardwalk and so glad we have DVC there.
Sean has no desire to stay here, not sure why. I want to stay at them all!!!

The Disney Magic!!! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2
You're so smart.....it's my favorite too, well until the new ships come out that is.:cool1:

Here's some pixiedust:pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: for her

Thanks Cass and everyone. Cass, how is the little turkey doing, any more reactions to anything?

OK..as I cheated an easy one. Who said...

Is it too early to start making my door magnets?

I think it was Jen. :goodvibes

i'm mike aka underdog and joining me will be my lovely bride of 34 years robin/ tart annihilator.

Thanks for all the "Welcomes" from everyone along with the advice on whether to go to Disney the week before or after the cruise. :goodvibes I'm still undecided. We've been in October before and didn't really want to have to leave early or pay extra for MNSSHP and have heard that the crowds are getting bigger because of MNSSHP. But I wasn't sure how they compared to Jersey week for crowds. We may also go to MNSSHP after getting off the ship on the 31st.

:worship: Again I'm amazed at the number of posts even since yesterday!!! When I signed on today I wasn't even really expecting anyone to have responded yet, let alone all the welcoming and advice. I'm new at the discussion board thing and apparently have a lot to learn :)

My favourite Disney resort would have to be Fort Wilderness. The kids love the movies on the big screen, making smores around the campfire with Chip & Dale and the boat ride to the MK. But if I had to pick between Fort Wilderness and the Disney Magic ... I would have to say Disney Magic every time.

I'll be sure to check in a lot more often but for now I'm off to walk my energetic beagle up here in the western Canadian cold.

First of all..........:welcome: to the 10/24/09 cruise.

Second.......being from NJ and knowing what Jersey Week is like, I'd say the week before the cruise will most likely be less crowded at WDW. Besides, I think going to WDW before the cruise is a better idea, mainly because you can take that week on the cruise to relax after the busy days running around at WDW.

Third.....I hope you DD is feeling better........:flower3:

Thanks regarding my dd. When I had to take her in for her bloodwork yesterday she was not a happy camper. She is so done with being poked and hooked up to IV's. I'm hoping that the worst is behind us and we have no more relapses or futher issues with her heart and kidneys.

Does Jersey Week really make things more crowded than MNSSHP and the Food & Wine Festival at Epcot?

Okay, now I'm really off to walk my dog.

Dianne

Hi Dianne  Boy will Cass and Bernie ever be happy to see a fellow Canadian with us on the BOB. Did someone explain BOB to you yet? Just in case, B O B stands for Bash On the Boat. Three different DISers had their hand in naming this thread. There are also a few of us who just call us the BASH too. Either way, that's us!! We're crazy and love to chat about family, friends, work, food, booze, and yes, even sometimes we talk about the cruise itself.

Jump on in anytime. We all look forwad to hearing from you...often!!!:wizard:

Good news kids...the Question of the Day will continue for at least 5 more days thanks to another BOBer who came up with 5 more for me. If anyone else has any, please feel free to either post them yourself, or pm me and I'll gladly do it.

(Thanks HM).

Dianne, I'm not sure if all cruise meet threads are as chatty, but we're definitely a chatty bunch! Please don't feel intimidated, or even feel like you have to catch up - I'm still behind and I've been here since thread 1!

Speaking of which...I forgot to answer today's question.

I've only been to one Disney resort....so I will say the Contemporary!

We stayed there on our honeymoon in one of the garden buildings (I think it was the one they tore down!)
