If money was no object and neither is time, name ONE place you'd like to spend 1 week in.

My answer: A new Disney ship on a cruise to Hawaii :lovestruc

Gotta think about that one. Although I might steal yours. That sounds wonderful :thumbsup2

i actually like shopping with robin. (but not grocery shopping)(or book stores)
we were in the book store over the weekend and robin said "i could spend hrs in the book store if you didnt hate it so much":rolleyes1
to which i responded " i like magazines, but i'm not allowed to look at them"
 :lmao:
Grocery shopping is the thing I dislike the most!

I love it when you do this:lmao: ... it says so much in so few letters:lmao:

I can just see you doing it now:lmao:

Karen, I can assure you that it looks exactly as it sounds. :lmao:

We're switching to Verizon in April when our contract with AT&T is up. We have our house phone, cable and internet with them....Rob's work phone is with Verizon as well, but we don't have to pay that bill.....As for texting, I don't do it. I would probably be as addicted to it as my daughter if I did have it. I really have no need for it. In fact, I kinda enjoy forgetting my cell phone at home so no one can reach me...

Does anyone ever feel like that, too....like you're TOO connected?

Me too Paige. However, I am thankful for the day "caller id" was invented. :thumbsup2

me, me ,me.:thumbsup2
i underdstand the need for girls to have a cell phone in this day and age.
(security wise)
i've got a cell too but dont carry it all the time. probably should, but i hate it.
we dont do texting at all!!
we do have at&t / cingular and are pretty happy with the "bars".
we could go back to the old days of a "party line" phone.
now i'm showing my age.

A party line! That's a blast from the past Mike. My brother and I used to listen in on our neighbor. She was having an affair and we knew all about it. :rolleyes1

we've been good lately too. no donuts. its killing me.
but i am down 7 lbs

oh i'm sure that'll do it buddy. stick with me and we'll have our babes giving us smoochers the whole cruise.:cloud9: :cloud9: :cool2: :cool2:

see!! there you go walt.:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2
she cant resist your boyish charm:cool2: :cool1:

Good job on the 7 pounds Dawg.

Believe it or not, there are still a few around out in very rural areas!

Hey Everyone! I am all caught up -

:bday: Happy Birthday, Logan!!!

Mike - Congrats on the weight loss.

One week, no time constraint - :confused3 no monetary constraint - Hmmmm - I'm still dealing with the one week - no time constraint. I have way too many places I want to see that I haven't been and too many to which I want to return but this time with my handsome husband!

Believe it or not, there are still a few around out in very rural areas!

In our area of Lake County, Florida there were still party lines when my gandmother was living down there(1995). It was strange, when we would visit, to pick up the phone and hear people talking already........:rotfl:

Our house is around the corner from where my grandmother lived, but we have a single line at our place, no party lines for me........

How long did it take to catch up? I have been trying to stay as caught up as possible as chatty as we have been lately!
I didn't time it, but it didn't seem too long. Sometimes I read a couple fo pages at work too. I think there were only 8 or 10 pages I hadn't read.

Is that the new touch screen one? Suz says she wants one of those, but she really doesn't have a need. I just want to get a simple EnV, or what ever it is called. It has the full keyboard (flip up type). We'd then add the 250 text message plan to each phone for $5 per line. We'd never use more than 250 of them in a month, but at $0.75 each, they add up quickly.
I have the new LG Voyger which is a touch screen. It took me a couple of day to get use to it now I wouldn't go any way.

Since Biggest Loser will be coming on within the next 30 minutes, I'm going to sign off for the night. :upsidedow

Good Night All.........:wave2:

I had a good visit with Mary at lunch. But she's bored.

So, you can tell how better she is. She was told by her doctor the only reason they're keeping her in at this point is for one of the medications. She's on a product called Coumadin which suppresses blood clotting and they have to get the dosage right, too little and it won't provide any clot protection, too much and open wounds won't stop bleeding. As of right now the blood tests are not showing high enough levels, so, we wait.

Mary just posted on Facebook - she is home but still in need of prayers and pixie dust!

Party lines were hilarious! Of course, I used to love to just pick up the receiver and listen in on my sisters' conversations. :lmao:
