Howdy Jeff...you're with us now.

Yep, for awhile.

I see we are having a British envasion. I like it. Need to go back and read though. Looks like about 10 pages.

I'll be back to present time soon. My apologies for the repeat quotes that I will be posting.

Good morning everyone. I just have a quick minute before running off to do our services.

Tonight is the night for Extreme Makeover. It's the episode that we were involved in. If you see them describing the solar panels, and see a tall skinny guy with an overcoat walking past, it just might be me. I remember delivering food to the workers and seeing them shoot.

Another thing...if you see anyone with a navy blue/almost black over coat with a tie on, that matches the description listed above, it is probably me. I don't think I was in many if any shots, but you never know!

Ok, I already posted more than I thought I would. I got to get going. I'll check back again later.

Olivia is not back from her friends yet so we may be a bit later on the wii. :thumbsup2
Yipey its snowing harder now.

Seriously our best weather is July and August, but you just never know.:confused3

Our kids go back to school over here around Sept 3rd so attractions would be on the busy side. Are you thinking this Aug? Is it just the UK you'd be doing or are your squeezing in a bit of Europe? You'd get the UK done in 10 days:thumbsup2 - its not that big:goodvibes

IF we get the chance to get over there, it wouldn't be until 2010 at the earliest.

It would be only 10 days though, so no other parts of Europe.

Number boy is out in the lead with 3 times as many posts :lmao: - way to go Jeff

I could take the rest of the thread off and still be in the top 5 I think. But I won't. No need to be on the top either, so if anyone wants to post away, please do.

If the £ stays the same as it is at the moment it will be good for you.

I just updated my trip report with the Magic Kingdom section, if anyone is interested. I also added a section on the Bay Lake Tower construction.

That looks like a really nice hotel. Is it a DVC? Is the monorail going to go through it. :confused3 :confused3 Don't mind if this is a dumb question. Diane

Was just over there
CLOSED PhilharMagic:sad:

Walt, Grandkids, kids and I really enjoy PhilharMagic very very much. We usually see it twice while we are visiting Magic Kingdom. We usually spend 2-3 days there when we visit. That way we can see and do everything as much as we want. Diane

that walt and di are 2 of the nicest people you'd ever want to meet.:grouphug: :grouphug:

still dont believe a word i say di??:rotfl:

Okay I guess I believe you. Yes, you need to get a Garmin. Ask Walt all about them. He can tell you everything. He is a pro. He reads everything before he buys anything. Diane

If they are candy then the calories (170 for 2) and the fat grams (8 - and 4 of those are saturated) don't count, so medicine they are!!!!!!!

Didn't read ahead yet to know if Karen answered, but Digestives are British cookies/biscuits, made by Cadbury, and mine are half covered in chocolate. The biscuit part is not overly sweet - they are delicious!!!!

Sounds like they are available in the US then - I'll have to look for them although probably they haven't made their way to Maine. We're always last to get anything!

Interesting question for those of you who have relocated to another state - is your hometown where you were born, where you spent most of your childhood, where you live now, or does it matter how long you have lived where you live now? And for our friends across the pond - do you have the term hometown? How is it viewed there?

I never thought much about it. In my case I guess I think of Brunswick as my home town because I moved here as a child. If I travel & people ask me, I don't say my hometown is in Mass. but I might say I lived in Mass as a kid & moved to Maine when I was 10. Now how's that for a way too complicated answer!!!!

I have it on my calendar & plan to watch!

I lived in Mansfield Massachusetts, 10 miles from the Patriots stadium. 40 minutes from Providence and 45 minutes from Boston. I also lived on the Cape (Dennisport)during the summer my entire life. (from the day I got out of school until the day before school started.) I was a beach bum. I miss the ocean but I sure don't miss the snow and cold. New England is so beautiful. I enjoy the foliage during the fall. I didn't even notice it when I lived there. I will always call Massachusetts home even though I have lived in San Antonio the longest amount of time since 85. (23 years) I lived in Mass until I was 20 years old. I still love the Celtics, Patriots, Bruins and Red Sox. I also like the Spurs. Matter of fact. Spurs play the Celtics tomorrow. That should be a good game. Grandkids can chose who they want to win. They are brainwashed Celtics but are Spurs fans. Elijah wears all kinds of Celtics, Patriots, Red Sox clothes to school. My little Asiah said whoever wins that will be okay. There has to be a winner and a loser. Diane

Besides living in Mass. as a child, I also went to UMass Amherst.

Morning Folks.........

Hazel and I had a very nice evening, first we had a lite bite of dinner, then went to the Broadway Theatre and saw the musical "Annie Get Your Gun." This was the first of six shows that we had purchased to see this coming year. The show was excellent last night, the actors did an amazing job, it was one of the better shows we have seen at the theatre so far. :goodvibes

The theatre has also added a 7th show, "High School Musical" which will be in June, we picked our tickets for that show last night as well.

Have a great Sunday all.........:wave2:

Our summer theater is also going to do "High School Musical" this season. The others are ones I'm not too familiar with. I usher there so I get to see the shows free. I also pick up actors at the airport occasionally. Last season I picked up an intern whose father plays a leading role on a CBS soap.

Rachel and her friend Courtney really enjoyed Disney on Ice! I asked what characters there were and she said lots of them :confused3 I'll ask for more details this morning. She said they would definitely like to go again next time and I'll go with them next year too ::yes:: They did see Nancy G to say hi to her too :goodvibes

I haven't seen a post from Nancy G this morning to know what she thought. The one we saw was called Minnie & Mickey's Magical Journey & had Lion King, Mermaid, Lilo & Stitch & Peter Pan. (Did I tell you that already? If so it's my CRS acting up!)
