Inside out pajamas snow day FO

Its just started snowing again:sad: .. Neil goes away to Plymouth in a hours time til Tuesday or Wednesday. I'm going to have to drive in it:sad:

Congratulations Karen on getting page 73 all to yourself :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

:goodvibes

Karen /Heather - we are just bouncing ideas about at the moment re: scott and lori's visit. We have told them August is better if they want to go inside Buckingham Palace. Plus its the start of the football season.
Going to spend maybe 4/5 days in london/windsor and then head up to stratford, warwick castle and stonehenge.
Then we are going north to York and the lake district.
Scott and Lori havent booked flights yet so no comfirmed dates yet.
Its so exciting.:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2
If you know of any nice places to stay near stratford or warwick castle that would be great.

I'll have a think - there is one that the WDCC dealer used for his events in Warwick - very oldy worldy - loads of old beams etc - no idea what the rooms are like but it might be worth an enquiry:confused3 - I'll see if Neil can remember the name. Lord Leycester or something like that. Only a few minutes stroll to the castle.

Unfortunately had to go to work and the roads were tretcherous. Karen got a lot more than us. It's all but melted now thanks to the sun and the higher temps.

Its snowing again:sad:   on top of that nasty thick ice:sad:

Oh no....we haven't had any yet. Just looked at the weather forecast and looks like we are scheduled for rain today and heavy snow on Wednesday.

Its falling quite thickly:sad2: If I blow hard enough I might just get it to land on your house instead of mine:rotfl:

The BBC weather shows snow your way to arrive about 6pm. It's early.

That sounds great, Scott and Lori would like that!

We certainly do.

Not getting much done, keep popping back on here.
Now my drying is finished that needs ironing.:sad2:
No snow for us yet. Blow it up to us Karen we could do with a snow day off work and school.

We went to a georgous hotel once for a wedding - I'll ask Neil if he knows the name - almost castle like!

Have you finished your ironing Heather or do you keep popping back on.

I had some left over from yesterday and I've sorta finished it. I've got more in the machine and I keep poppig back.

I lived in Mansfield Massachusetts, 10 miles from the Patriots stadium. 40 minutes from Providence and 45 minutes from Boston. I also lived on the Cape (Dennisport)during the summer my entire life. (from the day I got out of school until the day before school started.) I was a beach bum. I miss the ocean but I sure don't miss the snow and cold. New England is so beautiful. I enjoy the foliage during the fall. I didn't even notice it when I lived there. I will always call Massachusetts home even though I have lived in San Antonio the longest amount of time since 85. (23 years) I lived in Mass until I was 20 years old. I still love the Celtics, Patriots, Bruins and Red Sox. I also like the Spurs. Matter of fact. Spurs play the Celtics tomorrow. That should be a good game. Grandkids can chose who they want to win. They are brainwashed Celtics but are Spurs fans. Elijah wears all kinds of Celtics, Patriots, Red Sox clothes to school. My little Asiah said whoever wins that will be okay. There has to be a winner and a loser. Diane

Thanks for the info. We plan to watch the C's today although we will miss some of it because Jason has a hockey game at 2. Sorry - can't root for the Spurs!!!!

Going for a walk while the sun is out!
