Hi all.......If it is alright, my wife and I would love to join you on this cruise? We promise not to hog the hammocks on Castaway Cay and we promise not to eat too much at the buffets....ummm, ok, the last one I cannot promise you that! :thumbsup2
I am Chris (44) and my wife is Lori (38) and we are from Ontario, Canada. This will be our 5th cruise. We normally cruise in a cat 7, but have decided to try a cat 11. I am not even going to try and read all the threads, so if there is any info I need, please pm me or just let me know in this forum.
We just got off a 4 day last Thursday........cant wait to get back....:cool1:

Hey Everyone! Thanks for the good wishes and prayers. I had a lot of sick cheerleaders this weekend and thought we were going to have to scratch because of it, but they are amazing with strong work ethics. They gave it all they had. I am so proud of them - they got 2nd at State. This is the 3rd or 4th year the school has gone and they have never done this well. My girls are amazing young ladies!

I'll catch up tomorrow - we just got home, and I am tired!!!

Hazel told me this morning even though she saw what was in my notepad, she still didn't put two and two together and wasn't sure if we were still going on the BOB cruise. Yes, she is quite happy that we are going in October, she also said she was surprised yesterday.

I've been working on Kira's First Year digital scrapbook album. I am on my 43rd layout and I am still in June 2007 :rolleyes1 :lmao: Only 4 and a half months to go :cool1: :rotfl2:

Dinner was very good, Bragg creek is very pretty! Today we need to figure out Gary's B-day ...sigh what do you get a boy who is 19??..sigh

Congratulations 2nd place is great. I'm sure they are proud of themselves for placing and showing there commitment level being sick.

Here is the recipe and a picture of the WW recipe I made for the party last night. It was fantastic (If I do say so myself)!

Cherries in the Snow
1 angelfood cake, cut into one inch cubes
1 8 oz. bar of fat free or reduced fat cream cheese, room temp.
1 cup of powdered sugar, sifted
12 oz. thawed fat free Cool Whip
1 can cherry pie filling (I've used the sugar free and it's okay, but they have a little whang to them)
2 tsp. almond flavoring


Beat cream cheese on medium till smooth and add powdered sugar a little at a time, till combined. Fold in Cool Whip gently till mixed with cream cheese mixture.

Stir the 2 tsp. almond flavoring into the cherry pie filling (I just do this while it's still in the can.)

Layer half the angel food cake cubes in a trifle bowl, spoon half the cream cheese mixture on top. Spread half the can of cherry pie filling on top of this. Repeat with remaining ingredients for one more layer.

This stuff is addictive! And has 2 WW points per half cup, for anyone counting.

Sorry Amanda, I don't know that info. I got this recipe off of Brenda's Belly Up thread and they had the WW points all figured out for us. But....what it sparkspeople? Is that something like WW? :)

sparkspeople is like biggest loser dot com but without the cost. I has a set menu if you want or you can just post your diet and excercise you did and it will calculate how you are doing. for example i put in how much i want to lose and it set up i need to eat this amount of calories, carbs, fat and protein to acheive this goal. The max i says you should lose per week is 2-3.5lbs per week. It will also track your excercise the same way by telling you how many calories you are burning for that excercise. Ive lost 20lbs since jan 4th. It doesnt sound like much but i realized that the only way to lose it is to do it slow. Everytime ive lost alot fast it just comes right back with a little extra.

Thank you. Ive been following your weight loss also and just wish i had the dedication you do to exercise. I don't like to get up early and work out when its cold so my exercise has been sporadic.

I know how you feel Amanda, there are days that I don't want to go to the gym as well because of the cold weather. I can't wait until Spring is here and we start having warmer mornings!!! :goodvibes
