Rummikub? OMG...I used to play that with my uncle. ::yes:: I don't think I even remember how anymore Heather. :confused3

Our friends that were with us tonight, got us hooked on it last year. Now I've got my brother and sister-in-law hooked.

That's me done. Catch you all tomorrow.

They have Johnny Rockets on the RCCL boats.

Sorry, but my camera doesn't have sound. I really need to get myself a newer digital camera.

So...just to leave you all for tonight, here's a little joke...

Two women were sitting by the pool, and one asked what kind of water they fill the pool with -- fresh water or sea water? The cruise director answered, "Sea water." "Oh, that explains why it's so rough today."

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I'm going to watch the Top Chef episode I missed the other night on Bravo, see ya later.......:wave2:

Andy what was your honest opinion of RCCL? I see you went on the Sovereign which was one of their oldest ships. We went on one of their older ships and also the smallest. There was so much more to offer on DCL.

Well dinner is done, dishes in the dishwasher. I can put my feet up a bit and relax for a bit.

Since we had only cruised with DCL before our RCCL cruise, it wasn't a fair comparison, as far as I am concerned. We had a nice time on RCCL, but it didn't match up with our Disney cruises. The Sovereign was an older and smaller ship, the food was good, but the shows didn't have the Disney quality, touch or feel. Would we sail on RCCL in the future? Maybe, but it would have to be on one of their newer, larger ships, after we try one of the newer and larger Disney ships. :goodvibes

When we first walked into our cabin Lina said, "Dad, where's the rest of our room and where's the second bathroom?" Then she said, "We are only cruising Disney after this cruise, right?" Do you think we created a DCL snob in our daughter?.......:rotfl:

We cruised on RCCL first, on their smallest ship. It was about 300 ft shorter than the Magic/Wonder! The first few days on the Magic, I kept losing track of the forward and midship elevators. On the Nordic Empress there was only forward and aft, so I would think I was almost out our room (5522) when we were only midship(passing the mid ship elevators).

We had a great time. Although, I never went in the pool on RCCL. The seas were choppy the whole week on sea days and the pool was closed. There was no alternate dining areas...ie no fast food. There were times when I was hungry!

The rooms were tiny as well. Here is a pic of our room.

When we boarded the Magic we were blown away by the room size, the alternate dining options, the level of service, and of course as you said, the shows blew RCCL out of the water!

Our CD on the Nordic Empress was a phony snob too! He said the same things every night and we saw him in Grand Cayman, we said "hey there's Chris our CD." He gave us a cheap smile and kept walking. Andy (Ciao for now) on the Magic was a great CD and my parents said he was the best they ever had on 4 cruises. Too bad he got fired shortly after our cruise.

A funny story here about the elevators on the Sovereign. I walked from the forward elevators to what I thought was the midship elevators. When I found out what I thought was the midship elevators, was actually the aft elevators, I was in shock. I wondered what happend with the rest of the ship.........:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Heather, thanks for reposting Rick's video :thumbsup2 I forgot how awesome it was :cool1:

Dave....I'm drinking coke with extra sugar :lmao: :rotfl2: :drinking1

He's like Robin Leach, a great host :thumbsup2 He needs his own show ::yes::

I will have to convince Bernie to be my host for my next video  :cool1: :thumbsup2 ;)

This was the only pic I took of the inside of our cabin on the Sovereign.

Sigh, watching Dave on deck 4 watching the seas roll by...makes me want to go NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :rolleyes2

happy Saturday everyone. Just getting ready to go out and clean the driveway. I'm tired to getting stuck so i need to get 8-10 inches of snow off the drive. I would prefer the white stuff be sand.

Have a great day everyone

Amanda

Hey, Amanda, I heard you and Annette were back! That's great! I've been busy with lots of things & this is the first chance I've had to welcome you back.

Talk of a possible Nor'easter hitting our area on Tuesday, I'm starting to shake in my boots already.....:scared: :scared: :scared:

I don't like Nor'easters......:sad2: :sad2: :sad2:

Same here - first they said rain, now they're saying snow. I don't know which is worse. Rain on top of the snow would certainly be a mess right now.

Well, Alex did end up needing glasses. They will be in by next Friday.
I'll let Julia know you got her card.:thumbsup2

We received Julia's thank you note as well. That was nice but not necessary - I enjoyed doing it. How close is she to reaching her goal?
