Good evening everyone...

It's a relatively quieter house for us tonight. DD is spending the night at a friend's house, so DS is pouting a bit because he is here with just us.

My TV show is on tonight...Battlestar Galactica. Any other BSG fans on the DIS??

I tune in now and again. I like the new series. But it hasn't gotten into the must see TV category for me. Like the series "LOST" it has gotten tied up in unveiling a mystery in an excrutiatingly slow fashion. And some of the characters have changed so much over the course of the series that I'm not sure that I like them anymore. That said... it is an excellently made endeavor. The cinematography is really very good. Overall the writing and top-notch acting far surpasses the original.

I have been fighting a cold all week Cass. I went to the gym today and took it easy, but didn't have much energy to do upper body weights. I wasn't able to do my reps for my upper body. I could have worked my legs all day though. I guess that's what happens when you have a cold!

I had a cold in Massachusetts last weekend. I took two days worth of Zicam pills and it went away. I could not believe it. When I get a cold it usually last a long time. My grandson Elijah has been sick for 4 days. flu systems. Hope he gets well soon. It is lasting so long for him. Diane

she really misses everyone too.
she asks me all the time whats new on the dis.
she says her life stinks. she loves her job, but as soon as she gets home, she either does homework or is off to the nursing home.
thank goodness her schooling will be over soon.
we are heading down to cassies again this weekend. i'm going to paint and hang new blinds , while robin and cassie do some mother /daughter bonding. that'll cheer her up.
if only it wasnt a nearly 5 hr drive.

Please say hi to my buddy Robin. I miss her very much. Have fun at Cassie's. I know what it is like to be with my girls. I spend as much time as I can with them and grandkids. Family is very important to me. I talk to both of my girls at least 4 times a day. Even Erika who lives in Dallas area I talk to all the time. Kristen who lives in San Antonio I talk to her all the time. mother/daughter bonding is great. Diane

Thanks to everyone who has helped out Julia with her class project. She is so excited coming home with more envelopes. They keep the card at school so all I have seen so far are the envelopes. THANKS GUYS!

By the time the weekend rolls around for us we always have a ton of things to do. Running errands, grocery shopping, laundry.....etc. I don't think I ever had a weekend of NOTHING TO DO. Lucky stiff!

Us too normally but this weekend is an exception. I did extra during hte week to try and get stuff done early

Well, I bought the PhotoPass CD package for our trip to WDW today. PrePurchase price was $150 for the Photo CD with all of our pictures and a bound 20 page book with our favorite photos. I'm hoping that this will be a good investment.

Its even cheaper if you share

Well, I did it! Surpassed 2000 posts today. Yay!

Whose outdoor themed lighting just couldnt be finer
But he says his poems are bad
And that makes me real sad
But we'll meet again soon on the "Magic" cruise liner!

Thanks anyway Andy! For some reason I thought they were your pics but you actually cruised right before Dry Dock, right? Sorry, you had to search for so long. I really appreciate it dear.

Hazel and I did cruise right before dry dock, but it was when the ship came out after dry dock that the pools were green and dirty. I did the video of the water splashing in the pools from Hurricane Hannah........

My hubby is a huge Galactica fan, I'll have to remind him it's on tonight. If you have an Ipod they have free update episodes. Basically they take you through last season. I prefer the old version though. Starbuck as a woman, there is just something wrong with that.

Sean and Rick are definitely connected in some way. Rick loves Sci Fi programmes especially Galatica. Now we can get Sky programmes again, he's in his element.

A busy day here.

Ds # 2 is coming home from college, havn't seen him since 12/26. So I have baked some cookies this am. Laundry is going and I have to be to H & R Block by 10.

I am not ver good at selling the H & R Block products. They want you to push the extra guarantee and misc stuff. I have a hard time when most of the clients really need every penny.
